Charlene's legs gave out. Instinctively, she reached for Mom.
But Mom's attention was fixed on the phone being restored. She pointed at the number on the screen, her lips trembling.
"This number…"
Just then, Charlene suddenly rushed forward.
"Mom, this place exactly fits your description of the day Dad died. There's so much blood. I really miss my parents."
Stumbling as if disoriented, she crashed into the technician holding the phone. The phone shattered on the ground with a crack.
