I type back: Relax. You don’t have to do anything today. Just keep your mouth shut. No reply. Fine. I don’t need her today anyway. Today is about me. Today is about proving I’m better. Stronger. More deserving. Today is about reminding everyone that I’m the one who should be winning. Not Lena. Not the comeback girl. Not the pity‑princess everyone keeps fawning over. When they call my name, I glide onto the ice like I own it.
