The door slid shut, and I turned to look at her, breathing deeply. The scent of honey-crisp apples filled my senses, making my mouth water. I closed my eyes, feeling my dragon wake. It wouldn’t do to scare her away with my beast’s eyes. Taking another deep breath, I pressed my lips together. Slowly, opening my eyes to look over at her. A soft, shy smile was shot my way as she brushed her shoulder length dark auburn hair behind a delicate ear.

She was tall for her age, with dark hair and pale eyes and a face that was trying very hard to look bored. "So you're the half-blood," she said. "The one everyone keeps talking about." Lyra studied her. "I'm Lyra. And you are?" "Freya." The girl crossed her arms over her chest. "And I don't need training from someone who wasn't even born in this pack." The other young wolves shifted uncomfortably, their eyes darting between Lyra and Freya. They were waiting to see how Lyra would react. Waiting to see if she would lose her temper. His wolf was a black, muscular gigantic beast. He turned to his mate and sneered slightly before walking on to join the other werewolves. He stood almost a head taller than everyone around, they parted to let him walk through. "The moon is red," Hilda said. I turned and looked at the sky.

Helena gritted, her eyes rolling in anger. She was trying to keep her cool all this while because of the hunger she was experiencing, but now that she was filled up, she had the strength to curse both of them. She knew how sensitive Draco was to smells and scents because he gets irritated by them easily, so she purposely carried a scented bag along with her to put him in discomfort.
