Only blood can.” I felt my throat dry. “Blood?” “Yes,” she said firmly. “Only a strike from their own bloodline can finish them. And that means you.” My fingers hovered over the hilt, trembling. “You’re saying… I have to be the one to take them out?” Alice nodded slowly, her eyes steady on mine. “Yes. No one else can. You’re Lucas’s blood, Aurora. You’re the only one who can end them.”

She sneered, her tone full of contempt and spite. She turned her gaze towards Lucius then, her lips curving into a smile. "I am sure you can tell me what I would like to know for free," she purred. "What do you mean by that?" Lucius asked, his eyes narrowing menacingly. Valentina smiled sweetly, "Oh, nothing. Just a friendly suggestion. And don't try anything funny – I have a bad feeling about this." She snapped her fingers and vanished from view. Lucius approached the fallen wolf. "Xavier! Wake up!" he shouted with all his might. As he reached out to touch his friend, he felt something tugging at his soul. An intense fear gripped him and he let go of Xavier.

I stopped near the doorway, keeping my back pressed against the wall trim. Drake sat on the white sofa with his legs crossed, holding a china cup. Beatrice sat right beside him in a neat blue dress, her heavy gold necklace catching the light. Victoria sat across from them on the matching couch in a silk jumpsuit, taking slow sips like she ran the place. Valentine stood near the entrance. His jaw was locked tight, his coat hanging off one shoulder, and his hands shoved deep into his pockets. "What kind of stupid game are you playing?" Valentine asked, his voice low and rough. "You dare to claim properties I worked hard for?"

I chuckle sadly. "Then p-please-… Please, don't hurt me," little Valerie begs. "I won't because you're going to meet a charismatic vampire and call him Charming. He's going to be your saviour, your brother. He's going to put you on a sugar rush, and you'll pretend you hate it, but deep down, you love it. You're going to see Eldora. A masked figure grasped her hair, yanking her to her knees. Valtira ripped off her mask, revealing a face twisted with malice. "That's what you get for messing with me," she spat, her eyes blazing with contempt. Aurora starred at Valtira unmoved. "I'm not surprised," she said confidently. "You've always been a lunatic Valtira." Valtira's chuckled, With a swift motion She slapped Aurora, sending her crashing to the ground. "What a pathetic Luna you are," Valtira sneered, her foot connecting with Aurora's belly in merciless kicks.

The manor’s halls had fallen into a tense silence by the time they returned. Moonlight spilled through the high windows like silver knives, too cold, too sharp. And yet, even that couldn’t prepare the household for what happened next. Luna Valencia was already waiting in the entrance hall.
