He asked, tilting his head at her more curious. "Your aura is extremely intense, and yes, your size is overwhelming...but you're a Dragon and I'm only ever going to be a pathetic little Omega Wolf at best..." He lifted his mighty head up, looking off into the darkness where the wisps were now flitting around doing their own thing amongst the closed meadow flowers, collecting seeds. The moon had emerged bright and half full, the thunder clouds long gone, illuminating the scene just enough for them to see each other. He chuckled, emitting a stream of chilly air. "Is that what you consider weird?" He looked back at her. "Your touch and the love in your heart is all I need, little wolf."

She watched as intelligence swam behind the eyes of the dragon that had found her, yet never gave her away. They were as magnificent as they were deadly. She fell back onto her hands, confused about how she could be in awe of such vile creatures. What has come over me?

I fumbled my toes, reading the chapters intently as the atmosphere quieted down. The other reason why I was so excited for the newest chapter was, it stopped at a good part where another new character is introduced. It was a mythical dragon, named as Clairmont but people called him Halberdier of Chaos, Rodrigar. Even though he’s just introduced in about a few chapters, somehow, he immediately became my favorite. I don’t know how should I put it, but maybe I’m attracted by how the author managed to explain his appearance in detail; a dark skin tone, piercing golden eyes with a spiraling red around it’s cornea, tall stature, and leanly muscular body. The author also stated in their notes that

Alicia decided she had to see if he was still conscious before determining if she could help him or not. One quiet step at a time, Alicia came upon the dragon. He was blue, purple, and green and his skin shone in the sunlight like oil. Being a girl who knew no fear, she carefully reached a hand out to touch him. After all, it was not every day that you got to touch a dragon, she thought. He didn’t open his eyes when she gently touched the side of his face. That gave her courage to examine him. Alicia had hopes to be a Doctor of Animals, but she knew that was just a dream. No one would take a woman seriously.

Oh well, Dion didn't mention that, and I don't need to know their family history. We placed the plate full of sandwiches and the orange juice on the wooden center table. We found Daniel sitting with Dion and Zhairo while holding a toy, a green creature that looks like a mosquito or what. I took a better look at it and realized it is one of Zhairo's toys. A creature from Bakugan. I looked at Dion and Zhairo too and found them holding creatures too. And as always, Zhairo is holding his favorite asset, a red dragon, he calls it 'Dragonoid'.

She was determined to tell the story in chronological order and jumping ahead to admit Jim was a vampire just wouldn’t do. Lizzy showed great interest when Chloe told of Tristan’s dreaming of her and how he went so far as to profess loving her. She asked quite a few questions about the atmosphere and conditions of inner-earth, as well as the occupants. Discovering that Tristan’s people were able to turn into dragons didn’t seem to faze her in the least. In fact, it pleased her.

The book was just in the living room on the coffee table. She graced me with a smile that dazzled me and left my heart fluttering. “I have a cheesy romance novel about dragons on mine.” “Dragons, you say.” My grin widened. “Yeah,” She blushed as she folded up the wrapper from her now finished sandwich and tucked it under her drink cup. “I like shifter romances.” “Maybe I can borrow it sometime?” I said, watching her cheeks heat up with a blush. “I don’t know, it’s a bit… Graphic.”
