I take a last look at her and then focused on what I’m doing, but now, having a heavy heart. YOSEF I was chasing Calli as she was about to approach Black Dragon. I know I have to stop her before it’s too late. But before Calli reached him, a slow soft music filled the bar. Everyone grabbed a partner and I immediately pulled Calli closer to me. She looked at me and smiled. She can really make me calm down. I smiled back. Then I remembered Black Dragon. I looked sharply at him and was startled by his expression for the third time tonight. He looked dreamily into nothing and I’m sure he’s spacing out, a smile drawn on his face. Hmmm… Is he in love? I wonder to whom? The song continued playing a

One thing he loves is driving his car. It's a luxury sedan built for the city traffic. His company is situated in the center of the city in one of the tallest towers in the world with a helipad on the terrace. It's constructed by the Hamilton group, facilitating the dragons to shift and fly off at any given time. There are balconies on every floor, making the shifting easy. Mostly Dragons work in his company, along with a few wolves and vampires. Humans will not dare to step inside it, with the fear of being killed.

She didn’t know the official name, but she’d dubbed them rainbow flowers. She needed to face it. She was falling hard and fast for the two shifters. While she’d been skeptical of Brecc, his personality reminded her somewhat of her own. He’d been emotionally lonely and she knew exactly how that felt. The flapping of something in the air made her glance up. She cursed when she saw a giant purple dragon swoop down. It came down fast. The dragon curled claws around her and took off so fast she didn’t get a chance to really make out what was going on. Glancing through the claws, she saw Brecc and Eros shift into white wolves and chase after the dragon that had her in its claws.

I place my hand over my mouth and gasped, “In that dream, your eyes changed. Turned reptilian. What you said now makes sense. You’re an alien.” “I am and more.” He lifts my hand to his lips kissing it. “Remember your red dragon?” I nod. “What if I told you I am a shapeshifter. A red dragon to be exact.” “What?” I whispered. “Do you remember that video of the green dragon?” “Yeah, but it was proven a fake.” “With the help of me and my four brothers. That first video is real, and it is my brother Mitchell. Each of my brothers' dragons is a different color. Mine happens to be red.”

the humans and I thought coming as one of their tiny humans makes me less scary.” He said in my mind, with a shrug as he stepped from behind my sister. He looked at me and then his eyes turned emerald, green which was the color of his dragon Drax. He quickly got control of his dragon and looked in the direction of Mina. No please god no please don’t let him imprint on Mina. Being a dragon’s mate is not the same as it is here. Taking a deep breath, he continued, "You do realise that Dragon Shifters are purported to be a secretive race and don't welcome outsiders at all. That is, if they are not extinct. The blood witches and vampires who sought to end the Lycan line also sought to end the Dragons. However, if you are going outside of the pack, you must take warriors with you., possibly a witch, if they don't mind." I was surging with elation, my pulse quickening with excitement and pride. I had longed for this moment, the chance to step out from the shadows of my brother's accomplishments and forge my own path. A warm glow spread through my chest, giving me a sense of validation and

I guess I can relate to that myself, adapting to the environment of the Guild so we weren't murdered. "Makes sense. You need to adapt to survive. So then what are you then?" Drake seemed pleased with my answer, because he smiled with relief. "Well we are shifters. We can transform to a certain breed based on our heritage. Of course we can use our magic for small creatures as well." So the Golden Hawk, was that a shifter then? Had they been spying on us this whole time? I glared at Drake upon the realization.

Even they knew the power our blood held. "Witches have been experimenting with other supernatural blood types in their magic. Dragon shifter's blood makes their spells ten times more powerful. From the time you were born, you have been cursed. The elders made the people hate you, shun you. It only got worse when Adam realized what they were doing. He walked in on the Elders as they were convening with witches, trying to find a spell to help gender selection for the next fledgling Kaldran and I were to have. They were trying to save the dragon race, but for a price. Selling their own blood for their debts, giving the witches extra to play with."

he said fear now in his tone. "Why not?" I spat. "With all due respect Master." he began. "Dragon shifters are practically dying out as a race because the fetus and the mother share an energy source. Kill the fetus drain the mother, also the mother doesn't tend to do well away from the baby's father as a secondary energy source to help her grow the offspring." he explained as I cursed, turning around. I punched the wall, causing the doctor to jump and Andy to muffle her sobbing. "So what now.?" I asked the doctor through gritted teeth.

I quickly pulled up a web browser and searched “shifter mind tricks on humans.” Losing or giving up control was not cool, not at all. Even if in the moment my body wasn’t even remotely protesting. These guys are my employees!! Skimming the first article that came up wasn’t helpful and after going through a few more I finally saw it. “The only shifters capable of what is called ‘trance suspension’ are dragon shifters.” My head fell forward, blanking down at the phone like it would suddenly say something else. He’s … a dragon?
