Burning flesh, a bone dragon formed, crawling up, its wings adorned. Evil, born in shadows’ birth, in quest of kin, it roams the earth. Devouring souls, a desperate cry, villagers succumb, beneath the sky. A warrior bold, on fiery steed, with a horse of valor, matching speed.

I change into a pair of leather pants and a bra strapping my sword to my waist. While I'm changing, Flavius wanders around the room, lightly brushing his fingers across the many bookshelves I have carved out of the mountain wall. "When I thought of your room, I never thought of so many books. I thought it would be full of weapons and armor," he says jokingly. "I love to read, honestly," I respond. "I’m surprised, though; you even have books written in other languages," he remarks. "There is a lot of great literature that came from the elves and the fae. As a dragon, I am fluent in all languages. I only have to hear the language once, and I can speak it," I tell him nonchalantly.

There is no time for hesitation today. More enemies surge upward from the streets below. Fae warriors riding dragons. Archers loosing arrows tipped with burning magic. A lesser dragon dives toward my throat. I twist aside and rip his wing clean off. He plummets screaming into the broken street far below. Another dragon circles behind me. I spin midair and drive my claws through his skull. Blood rains down across the battlefield. And still Seraphina’s music continues. I feel it moving through me now. Through the bond.

Drake reassured with a small smile. Elaina nodded in understanding and kept trying. After sometime Drake got an idea and he reached out to take the harp from her, “How about we take a little break and learn something new?” He suggested. Elaina frowned a little but let him take the harp. “What do you mean?” Drake picked up the ancient book and handed it to her before saying, “We have never really gone through this book properly, aside from the ritual and recitations, there is some written history of dragons in it. Take your mind off music for now and let's learn something new”

His lips quivered in fear as he stared at the dragon's eyes, which were like flames and body, so ancient and dark. “What do you want?” Minerva asked absentmindedly as the dragon stared into her soul. It nudged her head, its snout as if he could read her mind. Then it looked away from her. Behind her, Vincent stood there, a protective hawk. He didn't like it that there was another watching out for Minerva. “I don't like this dragon,” Vincent murmured. Minerva would have laughed if they were not in a situation like this. The dragon tilted its head as if he heard what Vincent had said. Then it moved his attention back to Minerva.

Jordan said already going through his book. “What's this book about?” Ashley said looking at the strange things on the book. “It's history about all the goddesses and their special dragons, I and Damian will read the books concerning the unification of blood ritual its mostly about spells so we need to be careful not to read it out Damian” Jordan said and Damian nodded in understanding. “Louis and Ashley will read about Goddess Rwanda, Tasha and Juliette about Goddess Thea” Jordan said pausing for a while. “What about us?” William said referring to him and Randall.

she said that but she didn't want to admit her inability to resist reading the book. It...called to her. She sat on the steps, sword now placed across her knees, as she opened the book. The words spilled into her mind like sunflower seeds. Valia Rostrag. A dragon who was incomplete. Hair black as night, kissed with streaks of impossible green, eyes like oceans that could drown a kingdom.

I thought with a scornful look on my face. "I can't wait to control their feeble mind," Kendra, my dragon, said with an excited look. "For making fun of how I looked." This war had started years ago when I first accidentally found a book titled the first dragons. And then someone helped me to know more about the first dragons, and their history. Everything started with that first book. The book was buried deep in the depth of a library, and that was the only print, I had found out later. The fascination became obsession and the obsession became need.

I pulled it our and read the cover 'Incwadi nezilo' "Hey guys check it out." I proceeded to an empty desk and placed the book on top. "What the hell does that mean?" said Jordan with a dumbstruck look on his face, well everyones face was like that. "Can't you guys read?" We all snapped our heads to Macey. "Mace, what does this say?" asked Bruce. "The Book of Dragons." she replied, I knew she was the true one, or she just know how to read this language. "What language is this Mace?" Will, asked looking from her to the book then back to her.
