Dragon Tales Max Novels & Stories

Kiran continued to interrogate. Max's face kept changing, not sure why Kiran wanted him to publicly disclose The Imperial Dragon. Slap! Not receiving an answer, Kiran slapped him again. Max let out a muffled groan, his body shaking violently. "Do I need to ask again?" Kiran's voice was cold, like the Grim Reaper's. Thud! Max knelt directly before Kiran, ignoring the astonishment and shock of the audience, but very firmly said, "I gave myself this power!"

Max is Hael’s best friend. Max is the problem solver. He looks out for Hael, is fiercely loyal, and often blurs the lines of right and wrong to gain an advantage in any situation; nobody knows that he’s carried a torch for the enemy's daughter. His family has been connected to Hael’s family for generations, the second in line, the trusted council to the Wilders for generations. Max is Haels right hand. Daniel, the heir of the opposite criminal family.

However, he did not expect Waylon to invite everyone there to witness its creation. At that moment, Thea woke from her slumber. Covering her delicate figure with the blanket, she rubbed her eyes and asked, “What’s wrong Darling?” James hung up the phone and said, “Maxine called to tell me that Divine Sword Villa is sending out invitation letters to the world’s martial artists, inviting them to witness the creation of Dragonslayer.”

He has suffered enough. Five dragons. The sight amazes me. Two red, two blue, and Tahr's silver. Ashrac is not with them and I feel bad that I cannot ask him to forgive me too. He'd be a teenager now and an even bigger handful for his parents. A smile curves my lips before it drifts away.

“I can’t leave him here on his own, though. Hafgan might do something drastic and dangerous…” “I’ll come,” Max perks up seriously. “I don’t want to lose my mind at all! No way will I let anyone take my body and take over! I don’t give a shit if it is someone I am related to or not!” I can’t help but smile at Max. He might be of ice-dragon blood, but he is much more honourable and true.

Then the last one, well, I smiled as I saw him. “You heard the name BLACK DRAGON right?” our boss continued. I can clearly see their reactions. The tall guy just raised an eyebrow. The mohawk guy looked straight to our boss. The last one just smiled and the youngest boy looked excited. “Black Dragon?! Who wouldn’t know him?! He’s a legend! One of the few we look up to! He can be lined up beside Shadow and Eclipse! An expert and a genius! You’re going to introduce him to us?!” he finally said. I smiled. If only you know. I thought.

Linking my arm through Jade’s I began pulling her along to follow the boys. “Come on, try to get there before the sun starts coming up.” We met up with the guys, which Kellan had already shifted into a large green Dragon, but while he was magnificent, it wasn’t nearly as impressive as Cyran’s Dragon. Once we were all settled on Kellan’s Dragon, luggage and all, Kellan spread his gigantic wings and flapped them a few times before taking off into the night sky.

I ask, something about this Gia girl rubs me the wrong way. "Gia was a girl that I met a couple of decades ago, she was thrown out of her group home because she was a Mythical. So I took her in and trained her to control her power. Earth is her specialty. Oliver here was someone that I grew up with, He is the last thunder dragon that roams the earth." My eyebrows shot up past my Forehead, the last thunder dragon? That sounds like the most difficult thing ever. Looking at Oliver, the respect that I couldn't find for him in the past, came to me full force. That must have been really difficult growing up! Might have been worse than my childhood!

Smarluuten said, his tongue flicking nervously across his lips once more. “Rex, what is he talking about?” Dilo asked, her eyes moving to study Rex’s expression. Her eyes widened when she saw he had visibly paled, “What he says is true,” she said, her hand moving to her mouth in shock. “The tales of dragons are true.”

She asked, not knowing if it really mattered, but she hoped that it would help. Vivienne answered, “Xander Voidwalker, dragon of void, Lucian Lightbrighter, dragon of light, Darius Stone, dragon of Earth, Cassius Stromrider, dragon of Storm, Kieran Frost, dragon of Ice, Lean Blackthorn, dragon of Shadow and Kai Morrison, dragon of fire.” The names resonated through Maya like a physical force, each striking a different chord within her. She swayed, overwhelmed by the sudden influx of sensations—her newly awakened dragon nature responding to each male in ways her human mind couldn't process.
