Chasing Kitsune

Chasing Kitsune

he nodded, offering me the folder. I smiled. Of course, Darius boasts about his brother. I truly love that about these boys. They are always supportive of each other and our granddaughter. The four of them are a great balance to each other. I opened the folder and nod with a smile as I looked at the manga-style drawings. It was apparently me, in my youth, wearing my black jumpsuit with red trim and my face hidden behind the white and red kitsune mask in some panels. It was beautiful even though it showed a story of blood and darkness.

Angela Kulow
Another awesome book by Bryant! She is so great at character development and pulls you into her story. I love how she delved into taboo topics, and the real cost of those behaviors! It's also great to read about a strong female, instead of needing a man to save her!

This is probably one of my favorites from the author. It was well written and puts an interesting spin on Girl Power. I loved how Yuri was just risqué enough to keep me hooked. Yuri/Kitsune are the bada$$ I wish I could be. Hibiki is the perfect pairing for her, complementing not overshadowing her.

Divide the pack

Divide the pack

Hideyoshi The fact he turns into a giant bloodthirsty dog kind of bothers him to the point he won't tell anyone, ever. He just goes out into the woods and runs around for hours until he comes back to human form. Ieyasu This one secretly loves it. All the power but only for one night a month. He will go out after changing in his room by the light of the moon and will attack all those within the forest near the castle town. The lore is that you don't want to be out there at that night and soon they don't have any bandits nearby. He loves knowing it is because of him.

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

Forms blurred dance—draw, cut, sheath—bodies colliding controlled violence, each brush electric foreplay. Shoji rattled suddenly, splintering shadow-intrusion. Five figures burst ink-black—board rebels, faces twisted vendetta, tanto knives glinting malice under dojo lanterns. Leader snarled Japanese filth, blade arcing Kenji's throat. Time fractured slow-mo: his bokken snapped block, but flanking wolves lunged my blindside.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

“Mindblowing, eh? It’s because I tend to think imaginatively instead of logically. Do you think everything started from logical thoughts? Then please explain how did they invent a lamp, the telephone, or even a sex doll? It’s because they were imagining things that would be convenient for them. And this is what I want to show you.” He opened his hand and absorbed a palm tree to his palm. Koji and Indra were shocked by what they just saw. “Doki-Doki.” “Ca... Can a human really do that?” Koji asked. “A... Are you Miroku’s descendant? Did he marry Sango or he had his own harem kingdom instead?” Indra asked. “I don’t understand what you talking about, Indra. I don’t watch InuYasha as it was bann

The Purrfect Wingman

The Purrfect Wingman

And that was okay. Today I was helping Micah, a thirteen-year-old with a shaved head, hoodie sleeves always tugged down over their palms, and the eyes of someone who’d seen more than they should’ve. They weren’t chatty, but they liked drawing. Their sketchbook was filled with figures that resembled comic book heroes, quiet and fierce, with eyes always cast in shadow. They were hunched over a new page now, sketching a person standing in the center of swirling chaos. The figure held a long sword in both hands, the blade resting downward, tip touching the ground. Not raised. Not slashing. Just… there.

Oh this book is off to a fabulous start! I’m a few chapters in now and I’m loving this book. Spitfire, you’re my favourite, love the sass and commentary hehe. I’m also loving how the FMC/MMC are connecting and you can feel that slow love burning already. Highly recommend!

A delightful tale that combines humor and heart! With charming characters, an opinionated cat, and an engaging plot, it keeps you turning the pages. The book beautifully explores friendship and love, focusing on the bond between two humans and their feline chaos crew. A must-read for cat lovers!
