I cross my arms across my chest and shake my head in disapproval and the couple disappears. "Would you like another cup of coffee or are you leaving too?" He looks at me "Hmm you live off coffee don't you?" I chuckle and look at my feet as my hair curtains my face. In a gush Gabe is in front of me, he puts his hand under my chin and tilts my face up to face him. "I had a dream about you this morning." I blurt out. Gabriel's eyes widen then narrow. He steps back blinks and then poof gone.

I roll my eyes at him. “Morning, Gabby.” “Have that dream again?” He asked knowingly. The dreams he’s talking about started after my seventeenth birthday. I’ve been having them for almost a year now. When I first had the dream, I woke up up with tears running down my face. The feeling and the images had been so vivid that I had questioned reality. I fumbled and tripped out of bed. I hadn’t recognized anyone but Gabe from the dreams.

Eventually, fatigue caught up with me, and I dozed off right there in the living room. Deep in my sleep, a dream took hold. The memories of that chaotic night at the club began to replay. Remy announces cheerfully, standing by the bed in his cartoon pajamas, his face lit up with a gap-toothed grin as he tries to climb up. She moves gracefully from one bed of flowers to another, smiling as she gently tends to each bloom, touching each petal as if it were precious. Her hands are tender, her face calm and content, filled with the joy of caring for something she loves.
