The sky didn’t crack. It folded. Like pages turned in reverse, the stars slipped inward, pulled by something older than gravity. Elthara stood at the center, her fingers trembling as the last threads of the knot settled into her chest. They didn’t burn. They remembered. And through their memory, she became.
