TERMS AND CONDITIONS “I…I..” Lilian didn’t know what to do. She looked towards the crowd and spotted her father with pleading eyes , she looked further and there was Nanny Rosa with tears in her eyes and she made her decision . She realized she wasn’t ready to risk her happiness for anyone . Her brother would be fine and the family name never did anything for her so why bother about it but as she looked back at Xavier , through his hardened expression she could see desperation , desperation for the deal. She knew the deal meant more than he was letting on and she decided to help him.

Because instead of forgetting, instead of letting it fade into something insignificant, I become obsessed. With it…. With the why? With the how? With The Who? I become obsessed with the curiosity of unraveling it all and the more I try to rationalize it, the more It sits at the back of my mind like an itch I can’t scratch, it’s quiet at first when I try to suppress it but then it’s loud, it becomes louder and louder as if it’s clawing at the seams of my sanity until it’s all I can think about in between sentences, in between breaths, in between pretending I’m fine.

She slapped her cheeks, trying to cheer herself up.

She had talked to him, repeated it and still no response. Jordan seemed to have woken up from slumber. This was not the first time this was happening to him. Each time he gets carried away with the thoughts of her, he often becomes absent minded. "Sorry, you said something?" He glanced at Tina briefly and continued driving. Tina squinted. His eyes were red. Whatever he was thinking about was something unpleasant. How was he able to keep driving with such an absent mind? Tina nodded. She was quiet for a while and then said " I was asking you if you have to stress yourself to come along with me" Tina said.

"You make it so easy to believe that you're just a piece of matter orbiting around the earth." He slid down to the ground and opened the door of his car. "This time around, I'll suppress my intrinsic appetitive desire to consume you as much as I can and focus on flourishing and devising strategic ways to attack instead. I came to an epiphany that my staunch obsession renders me unwary, making me pregnable to your irksome guardians--oh, the thought of them infuriates me!" He smashed his hand to the car out of fury as he remembered all its failed attempts, especially the ones where it's almost close to victory but still ended up in chagrin.

I had noticed this the night I went to her house, she was driving me crazy that I couldn’t get enough of her and I had even ended up telling her that she was the best woman I have ever had. Even though I told myself she wasn’t that kind of woman that would use my obsession over her body to get at me, I was still afraid that she would which was why I promised myself that morning when I was leaving that I won’t give her the opportunity to even use it at me. I had started ignoring her from that day, waiting for the day that she would come threatening to expose everything if I don’t give her some amount of cash. I was ready to give her any amount she mentioned and fire her but still get my money
