Crime and Cashmere

Crime and Cashmere

I am drowning in my own tears. I have created a lake of salty droplets fallen from my eyes and I drown in it. My bones drag me to the bottom under their weight and nobody comes to save me. I am alone. So deeply alone. My husband stares at me, without concern, without love. He is just a warm body sitting at the same table, watching me drown. He eats a biscuit slowly as he stares, like he is enjoying the entertainment of a lifetime.

I DIVORCED HIM! NOW, HE REGRETS

I DIVORCED HIM! NOW, HE REGRETS

“I’m wondering how the hell you’re still standing.” That shut me up. For a second, the only sound was the wind pushing against the trees. I blinked hard, heat stinging my eyes. “Don’t... don’t do that.” “Do what?” “Make me feel like I’m not drowning,” I snapped. He tilted his head, studying me. “Maybe you don’t want to drown.” I barked out a laugh, loud ugly and wet. “What if I do?” And then the crack split. My chest heaved, and before I could stop it, tears blurred everything. I turned away fast, pressing the heel of my hand to my eyes.

Blue Blood

Blue Blood

Under the waves, I've found the strength to say The river of tears has washed me clean Go ahead and wish me well I'll cry a wishing you well I'll fly before I fail I'll set sail and drift away So I won't need you here Love sinks and hope floats In a river of tears In a river of tears I catch your scent in every wind And I recall the love we had, I can't pretend That I don't miss you now and then But the hurt is for the better Moving on, it's now or never Lost in the tide, I can't keep my pillows dry Like there's a sea in my eyes I realize that sometimes love brings you flowers Then it builds you coffins And far too often We end up falling to our demise I'm going down, and you have watched me

Marked by a Lycan

Marked by a Lycan

Moonlight spilled through the sheer curtains, casting a ghostly glow across the room, adding an ethereal touch to the somber atmosphere. I collapsed onto the edge of my bed, my body trembling with a mixture of exhaustion and raw emotions. The tears that had been threatening to spill finally broke free, cascading down my cheeks in an unbridled torrent. Sobs wracked my body, echoing through the quiet room, as if the pain within me sought solace in the release of sound.

I broke down and cried bitterly. I wanted to end it all. I ran with all my speed. I sighted a bridge and made my way to it. Memories of my life flashed in my eyes as tears strolled down my cheeks. He doesn't love me, so why should I live. With that last thought I jumped into the water. I could feel the water entering into me. I was Sinking deep and deeper. Bye world, bye forever.... .

Alpha of the Shadows

Alpha of the Shadows

Deep, alive, drowning. I’d miss looking at those eyes. I couldn’t help the cry that left my throat. It was a guttural, soul-wrenching wail—raw and unrestrained—as if the grief itself clawed its way out of my chest. It wasn't just a sound of sorrow; it was the kind of cry that tore through silence like a storm, born from the unbearable weight of watching the man I loved fade away. It held all the shattered dreams, the aching what-ifs, and the terrifying reality of facing a future without him.

Return Of The Killer Ex-Wife

Return Of The Killer Ex-Wife

Once inside, I let the door close behind me with a soft click, shutting out the world and its relentless judgments. In the bathroom, I turned on the shower, letting the water cascade over my head. It was meant to be cleansing, but instead, it felt like a torrent of my own tears. I sank to the floor, my body trembling as the water poured over me, mingling with the hot, salty tears streaming down my face. The tiles were cold beneath me, a stark contrast to the warmth of the water. I hugged my knees to my chest, feeling small and fragile, the grief enveloping me like a suffocating shroud. Minutes passed, though it felt like an eternity, as I sat there, lost in the storm of my emotions.

One Luna, Four Alphas

One Luna, Four Alphas

My sobs echoed through the silent room, a symphony of grief and frustration. I clung to my pillow, desperately seeking solace in its soft embrace. The fabric absorbed my tears, offering a feeble comfort amidst the chaos that consumed me. I felt the weight of the world upon my shoulders, the burden of my unexplained affliction threatening to shatter the fragile fragments of hope that remained. As the tears continued to fall, my body trembled with a mixture of exhaustion and anguish. I could no longer contain the torrent of emotions that raged within me. Each sob was a cathartic release, a plea for understanding, and a lament for the life I once knew.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…
