The Dog Whose Leg Could Not Be Bent (Love Beyond Flaws)

The Dog Whose Leg Could Not Be Bent (Love Beyond Flaws)

As he pulled a piece of quekiam into his mouth, he engaged the vendor in a conversation. “Hey, can I ask you a question?” he asked with the quekiam still in his mouth. “Sure! What is it?” Jake swallowed the piece of food then said - “I mean this is really just out of the blue but have you seen a dog somewhere around here?” “There are lots of dogs roaming around here! All of them are Askals looking for food. I’m sure yours is a pure-bred? Did you lose it?” “Oh, it’s an Askal also, really small, really ugly dog.”

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

Emily scooped up the wagging pup and shoved it toward Godric, who barely had time to grasp the puppy before she embraced Cedric. Godric glowered as she placed a light, excited kiss on Cedric's face. The poor rake was blushing deeply by the time she released him and reclaimed her gift from Godric. The puppy's pink tongue lapped her chin as she held it up to her face. Never in all of Godric's life had he been jealous of a dog. Cedric ruffled his hand through the puppy's fur. "She's an English foxhound. She'll need a lot of daily exercise, but she'll be the best hunter and the most loyal companion you'll ever have."

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

I said, surprised. “I know, but we also don’t normally go for a week at a time, and I don’t know what we will bring back. I would rather have the full team.” I nodded and helped hook the dogs in. Akira, a brown and white Alaskan husky, licked my face as I clipped her harness and Nova, a black and gray malamute, nuzzled in when it was her turn. Makya’s dogs were amazing and so well trained. “They never stand that still for me,” Makya said, clipping in a very energetic Jiro, one of his male huskies, on the other side.

This take on the werewolf genre is great! The setting does wonders for the story and werewolves in general, and the author's writing style is easy to read without being boring. Definitely an interesting book.

What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

She crouched down, gently petting the dog's head. A wide variety of breeds could be found among the many dogs present. Aside from the golden retrievers, there were huskies, Alaskans, and Samoyeds. Although Josephine had not reared a pet before, she could differentiate all the dogs' breeds. Suddenly, a mischievous Husky approached Josephine from the front. It raised its front paws and pounced on her. Josephine was caught off guard and fell onto the ground. The Husky pressed its paws on her shoulders as it licked her face. Josephine did not dodge in time, and a ticklish sensation was felt. Josephine grabbed the Husky by its neck and tried to pull it away.

Rayna Pelkonen
This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.

hoping that the author would create a heart wrenching regrets for lewis and a happy ending for Josephine for finding a rich man who truly cares, loved and willing to protect her i hope this novel wont end up like the others where the female being tortured & gets back to their male partners

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

The smell was stronger now—unwashed fur, hunger, and exhaustion. I pushed through a final line of bushes and stopped dead. The dog was huddled near the base of an old oak. It was a husky, but she looked terrible. Her coat was matted with burrs and mud, and I could see the sharp outline of her ribs through her thinning fur. She looked up as I approached, her bright blue eyes wide with a mix of fear and defiance. She didn't run. She stood her ground, her hackles rising as she stared at the massive wolf looming over her.

His silent voice.

His silent voice.

"Hey! get back inside before someone sees yo-" They all froze up facing each other. Dylan, Theo, and the huge brown and white husky that froze with one leg in the air. Dylan stared down at the husky and his mouth slowly fell open, the soft looking hair that swayed in the air, its honey brown eyes and skin color that matched his perfect type. "...No way." he gasped out.

I am in love with this book! I am hoping that Kyle will increase his powers with his mate so that he can kick that evil witch in the butt.(Without spoiling the read). I think that a little more steam is needed. The steam that we did get was top-notch.
