Michael invested all his time in walking again, if he is going to fight for his love then he mustn't have any disadvantage and him not walking is already a big disadvantage on his side. He went to office every morning and that's because he don't want to spend the day at home wallowing in self blame. His hallucinations may have stopped but his mind has recorded everything and it always replay it for him. So he will rather stay in the office than at home. Michael took his time thinking of a way to get close to Sasha, he thought about going after her like he always have been doing but will she accept it this time?

He knew that Alexa was thinking about what happened at the mall earlier. "Michael what happened to Hazel earlier, why is it suddenly covered in blood?" she asked. "Don't worry about it, his friends have already taken him to the hospital. Maybe he has a chronic illness that you don't know about,” Michael replied. "Is that so," muttered Alexa. "Don't think about other boys when you're with me," complained a sullen Michael. They then do a long scene. It's fun and makes them tired and ends up sleeping soundly until morning.

I concluded and dashed out of the living room…. My mind wasn't settled and I just couldn't function properly. .. knowing that she was in her most vulnerable state anything could happen, especially when from the info I had gathered so far from Alex about Michael that micheals history and info seems to be inconsistent…. Some say he has a brother and some say he doesn't, sometimes his age even changes with a huge gap difference. I mean I get it he's a cop but he was not a private investigator or a spy??? I rushed to Desiree's room and walked in slowly….

On the back, in handwriting I didn't recognize: "Chen Wei fixed my bike after my crash and refused payment. Said family takes care of family. I never forgot. - Marcus Steele" Marcus. Dax's younger brother. The one who'd died two years ago in a motorcycle accident that everyone said was suspicious. My hands were shaking as I tucked the photograph into my pocket. Maybe Dax Steele was telling the truth. Or maybe this was just another lie in a town built on them. Either way, I knew I'd be at that clubhouse tonight.

Michael stated. “Yeah, I lost my spleen and my kidneys are damaged, I can't drink a lot of alcohol or have late nights, I'm tired easily and I get sick more often than other people. My brothers always worry about it but I haven't been to the hospital for anything in three years” I said. “Well, my possessive protection just went up a notch,” Michael said staring into my eyes as he finished his wine. “I guess it's what I deserve, for not listening to Aiden and my parents and staying overnight” I shrugged.

Lucas chuckled and helped himself to more drinks. "Have you seen or heard from Micheal?" Xavier suddenly asked and Lucas stopped laughing immediately.. "Not since Diana, Why?" Lucas frowned and became serious.. They both know how reckless and impulsive their friend can be and it's highly possible he had done something he shouldn't have done. "Michael went AWOL after the stunt he pulled and I'm yet to find him." Xavier's eyes were still fixed on the ground floor through the floor to ceiling window... "Do you think he's working with that man?" Lucas asked with a serious expression and Xavier nodded...

But she couldn’t do so when fear had made her throat tighten so much. “Is everything alright?” Gerald’s voice came as he and Damian rushed towards them. They’d seen Dr. Andrew rushing by and had immediately known that something was wrong. Hence they’d followed. “Is something wrong with Michael?” Gerald questioned, taking in the grim face of Sasha and the teary faces of Desiree and Doreen. “He woke up and he was speaking to us but then he had another complication.” Sasha began explaining. “He was hyperventilating and convulsing and…”

Michael’s cold tone barely hid the fury simmering underneath. Xavier leaned forward, not even trying to conceal his satisfaction. "Yeah, I guess I am happy. But you know who’s even happier? All the women you screwed over throughout the years. They’re thrilled to see you getting exactly what you deserve." He smiled coldly. "Oh, please, those are lies! I’ve never hurt a woman in my entire life!" Michael shouted, his voice shaking. "Lies? Really?" Xavier scoffed. "I’m not sure what’s collapsing faster—your reputation or your stock price." He turned his phone toward Michael, showing him the company’s crashing stock market figures.

Maddox was dead, he was really dead, the years of abuse was finally over and I drop to my knees sobbing, it was over, it was really over. The man standing next to me tries to pull me up but I was sobbing uncontrollably. Daryl’s large black wolf pads towards me and he nuzzles his head against mine, reaching my arms around his neck, I hug him tightly, his black fur tickling my face. After a few moments he pulls out of my hug as I stay knelt on the ground, he shifts back and one of the men throw a pair of joggers at him. I barely got a chance to see him as the tears were still clouding my vision.

He passed it to Michael and offered again, “Are you sure you don’t want to have a seat?“ “No, it’s fine. “ Michael shook his head and opened the folder. He was well aware if he sat down, his leg would start reminding him of the last injury he had, and even though his healing process was fast, the bullet holes took longer to heal. So Michael only propped himself on the nearest armrest and picked up the first picture. It was of an older man, perhaps Benjamin’s age. He looked like a ruthless businessman, judging by the confident posture and that look in the eyes vultures had. Michael knew they type very well- he’s sent a couple of men like that to prison after all.
