He put HOW TO STOP TIME by MATT HAIG, followed by EVERGREEN by NAOMI HIRAHARA. "Then KISS THE GIRLS by JAMES PATTERSON." He put it next to the first book. "I've read that." I went on in a spur of excitement. "It's a thriller and mystery novel about a detective who's trying to track down a serial killer. So many twists and cliffhangers. Total page-turner." I giggled.

He obviously heard when I had the nightmare, and maybe, just maybe I had mentioned Atticus’s name. I tried to navigate my thoughts back to the architecture of the house. What kind of house was crafted in such a weird way? Everything seemed off. The reflections doubled back on themself like it was deliberate, like something was hiding in plain sight. After I finished cleaning, I stayed tracing the glass, unsure of what exactly I was looking for. I wanted to stop, but I heard a faint hum behind like a vibration. Electronics. “Fuck.” I staggered back. What was happening? I leaned in to listen, but I heard footsteps.

The dim, golden light from the chandeliers above created pools of light and shadow, adding to the library’s timeless atmosphere. I searched diligently, combing through the aisles dedicated to ancient mysteries and the occult. The titles were intriguing yet obscure, written in languages I could barely decipher. Just as despair began to settle in, my eyes caught sight of a section labeled "Ancient Mysteries of the Wolf Race." My heart leaped with hope as I approached the section, quickly pulling out a few volumes.

We walked out of the repair shop, as I headed to the car. "We can walk around the city if you want to look around?" Dallas asked, heading down the street with his hands in his pockets. I went away from the car and walked beside him. Shuffling my bag with my books, that had already been annotated this morning. Until we passed a bookstore, and then I begged Dallas to come inside with me. And he finally gave in. I went to my favorite section as he passed through the mystery section, stuck on a singular book. "So you like mystery?" I asked him, as his fingers flailed the book inside his fingers as he tried to grasp it properly.

I never saw that specie as people I could trust, except for my brother of course. I was never the type to let down my guard by falling for a guy. Not again! Not after what happened twelve years ago. Not after I have seen their true color. I would never forget it! I could still remember everything that happened that day vividly to the extent that I could write a book about it if I was told to.

Everyone knows the saying, "When you stare into the Abyss, The Abyss Stares Back." Many know about phenomena about Black Magic, Hauntings, Disappearances that have a Chill to it and if you search into it something sinister follows you. My Question is, What is THE ABYSS? Is it another Dimension of Horrors? Or a Realm of Mystery that intersects ours on a regular basis? Demon? There must be an ancient name for her. Or there isn’t. He was exhausted already. He ruffled his head, if he didn’t get anything, Dixon would end up killing him. He strolled down his phone. Ancient mystery girl. History search. He hunkered down. Since he was tired of standing.
