She was running and running along the path laid out not knowing where she was going. Eloisa ran all the way to the hospital from the pub, which was almost on the other end of the village. As soon as she heard the news, she closed the pub and ran all the way to the hospital. When she reached her mother's room, she saw her sleep and nurse fixing her saline tube. Eloisa entered the room and the nurse looked up at her. The room smelt so stale and filled with medicinal smell that it made her almost choke. She had never really liked hospitals anyway. She came to the hospital only three times including today. Not once she felt comfortable here. Hospitals always smell of stale and death to her. The

Running a pack was very expensive and those businesses help to fund all that is needed to run the pack. With a sigh, I grabbed a granola bar from my bag and scarfed it down. I had skipped dinner, and I was now realizing how bad of a decision that was. I had been so anxious and excited about leaving that I had been unable to eat. But once I get to the forest floor, I can smell that there is no one around and there is no sound of heavy footfalls in the woods. I begin running, my own feet barely making a sound. As I run, I grab berries from the surrounding plants, eating them and giving myself energy to continue. I had run for days when I escaped, so I know it will take me a couple of days to get back to the facility. When I get there, I need to be ready to fight, so I only have a couple of days to get my strength back.

Elara was in the middle of her morning run when she saw him. She ran every morning before school — had done for years.
