His Runaway Queen

His Runaway Queen

“You didn’t come here to befriend me.” “No,” she agreed smoothly. “I came to understand you.” “Why?” “Because you matter to him. And because I have the curiosity to know why a woman who was once a queen, ran away and left the king to bleed.” The words caught me off guard. I didn’t let it show. “And that concerns you?” “It informs me.” She wasn’t jealous. She wasn’t insecure. She was calculating. “I don’t want your position. And you don’t know the difficulties I faced before I ran away.” I said evenly.

The Hybrid

The Hybrid

Runa narrowed her grey gaze at the queen, scrutinizing her. Trying to discern any emotion behind her exotic features, coming up empty handed. This queen was hard to read. "You are the only one strong enough to kill him. And though I am queen, all minions, as you call them, have pledged their loyalty to the King. Not to me." Runa thought she saw a glint of humor pass through her eyes then vanish as she spread her wings wide, slowly walking towards her. "And you want me to pledge my allegiance to you? To become your pon in your game of chess with the world? And what of my pack?" The queen stopped, a look of shock clear in her eyes.

Runaway with me

Runaway with me

She clawed at his face and chest as she wriggled free from his clutches. He was astounded by her resilience and for a minute came back to his calm nature. She looked into his forest green eyes before running out of the alley. Her bag and clothes were left behind but she did not care. The road was secluded, not a soul in sight. The snow now formed a blanket on the streets and everyone was indoors. The forest lay between her and her home and Edith looked at the tall trees looming over swaying in the gentle breeze. She sobbed hard, looking at her bare feet. The cold was creeping into her bones and her teeth jittered. She looked back at the dimly lit street before taking off into the forest. Edi

False Best Friends

False Best Friends

She said, tucking the rose in her hair, “King Johannson, out of my unfathomable pity and compassion, I agree to go on a date with you this week. You may get up now.” She had already started taking steps back as she spoke. When she finished speaking, she turned around, giggling, and ran away. He chased after her. “You agreed to go a date with me, why are you running?” he shouted, out of breath and laughing as he chased after her. “I’m your queen!” she shouted, glancing behind her to see him already catching up to her. She increased her pace, feeling the thud of her feet on the sand. They were in a park.

LOST IN YOUR GAZE

LOST IN YOUR GAZE

"Please run away with her, Delaila, give her to my brother, make sure that she is never reached by the demon king... please..." The old woman looked at the queen and filled with fear she agreed, with her heart racing for hours and with the great thought that she owed a lot to this woman who had loved and respected her, it was the least she could do, she should help her survive at least that little girl, this one without more, wrapped the little girl in a wool blanket, to cover her from the atrocious cold of autumn that lay in those lands, but then with a significant pain in her heart, she gave a look full of pain to the queen before managing to go down that corridor, through which the queen

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

You are not happy in this pack-' 'Are you?' 'I was never happy. But we both know that we don't have the strength to run off.' 'Yeah...' I mumbled in my mind while thinking what it would be like to run away from the pack... obviously more disaster. I was the queen of disaster... Most probably, we would get caught under the eyes of a rouge who might or might not kill me. If I am lucky, I will be able to find another pack. Hopefully, they won't kill me the second they spot me. One way or another... it won't work.

I feel your pain. I suffer from chronic migraines as well and know sometimes it is so hard to function in this world. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Taking monthly shots and daily meds to try to control them are no fun and I understand your pain. Just try to do your best, keep smiling

The human queen

The human queen

His gaze lifts. And locks onto mine. The room fades. Just for a moment. Then A voice rises above the noise. Smooth. Unfamiliar. And far too interested. “So,” the man says, stepping forward, his eyes fixed on me. “This is the new queen.” My breath catches. Because there is something in his gaze Something dark Something dangerous.

The Don's Runaway Bride

The Don's Runaway Bride

‘Screw you, Aria Kostas’. I straightened, my spine uncoiling as every vertebra slotted back into place. Amusement curled the corner of my lips, even as anger lurked just beneath the surface. I had to admit; I felt proud. Aria was smart and brave and that would make breaking her way more fun than I thought. Now I understood why she had the balls to make a whole journal about me. I still couldn’t get myself to believe it, while other women had thrown themselves at me in the past, Aria Kostas literally chose to run away from her life and home just to escape me.

This book was a great read! Did have a bit of a slow start it seemed but it kept me intrigued. My only complaint was the female lead was very indecisive to the point where I wasn’t sure if the author made a mistake but all in all great read, good ending.
GIFT TEEY
Mafia stories often feature weak or fierce female leads, usually the former. But I love that this story gives us a truly fierce FL! Aria is incredible, and the chemistry between her and Pietro is undeniable. A brilliantly written story!

MY DAUGHTER'S MATE

MY DAUGHTER'S MATE

“No, my queen.” “Then why are you running away? If only you could just trust me, you might just see that I actually love you, I have no one else in this kingdom except Joana, even my daughter doesn't have time for me anymore, but you, you always make me happy, your presence is…” she paused with a sob. “I understand that the ladies here are all beautiful and young, I must have been selfish to think I can take away your fresh cunt experiences.” I studied the queen for a while, was she really giving up? If she was, why wasn't I happy? Why do I feel like I am losing someone dear to me?

The Chosen Bride Of Alpha Angel

The Chosen Bride Of Alpha Angel

(Elina) I was brought before the queen, and she was furious. After I regained consciousness, I found myself in a dark room tied up. I knew they finally caught me. “Since you chose to run away, to defy our rules… you'll be reduced to a pathetic maid… from now on… you'll be serving our kind until you die,” the queen spoke with high authority. The entire time, I had my head bowed, afraid of the consequences to come my way. I knew the worst would happen after I ran away.
