Eat That Frog Audiobook Novels & Stories

“It must be those frogs, isn’t it?” “Mom! You were supposed to guess not to answer right away.” The boy sighed with disappointment and let go of the frog and let it jump away. “Mommy’s sorry, little fighter. Now come inside, let's eat something, your dad is preparing mac and cheese for you, come in.”

Emma “This smells amazing.” Kai’s eyes sparkle as he watches Corvina put down the plate filled with a deliciously smelling stew in front of us. “What is it?” “Something delicious, easy to cook, and also nutritious for the pup,” Corvina circles her hand around, sitting down next to me. Ace leans in, taking a whiff and I pick up a spoon. “What’s in it? It smells great.” “Oh, just some frog legs, bull’s testicles, and good herbs that will help your tummy recover from travelling through the portal,” Corvina explains while Ace’s and Kai’s faces fall.

Ken is very mysterious. Lucy and I continued our working out. We ran casually and talked about many things. Lucy always has stories to cheer me up, and I love hearing her stories. I'm happy to have friends. Several times we stopped to rest. Lucy refrained from buying food and tried not to be tempted by the goose meat seller who kept calling her. I just found out that goose meat can be processed into food. I also saw a shop selling bird and frog meat. Small animals like them can be used as food. How many pieces of frog and bird meat do we need to fill our stomachs?

What is happening? Cautiously, I look behind me and stifle the urge to gasp when I see a toad, way more extensive than my minivan. Its pitch-black eyes are focused on a dove, and I witness the frog catch it with its thick, sticky tongue—the bird flap its wings, but it's useless. The toad is stronger and swallows the winged creature with ease. "Ribbit!" The frog looks very self-satisfied. What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Chris pointed at the corner. McKenzie turned to see another metal cage by the corner with a bunch of frogs inside! The frogs had bumps all over them, seemingly disgusting and terrifying. McKenzie grimaced. “The pythons eat these?” “Yes, I’ll show you!” Chris walked over and grabbed a frog. He then returned to the python cage and put it next to one of the pythons, and it instantly opened its bloody jaw and ate the frog. Gwak! Gwak! Gwak!

“It is fine if he's homeschooling, We can avoid troublesome people anyways “ Alfred nodded enthusiastically to Jordan’s words, grateful that he supported him. “ Why do I feel like you two are ganging against me?” “Little Eel, worry less and have your egg” Jordan patted her head and took a seat sipping his green tea. “You always take this bitter tea, try Hot chocolate “ Audrey held out her half-filled mug of hot chocolate. “ Sugar” Jordan shook his head, refusing to have a sip. “ But… Fine, don't drink.” Audrey huffed and turned to Alfred. “ Tell me more” Alfred took his time telling her about the fish documentaries he watched, analyzing and explaining as much as his vocabulary permitted.

"Frogs don't pee, they secrete—" "LUCAS DAMIEN MARTINEZ!" The use of his full name stops him mid-explanation. He appears behind his sister, identical brown eyes wide with false innocence, dirt smudged on one cheek. "Yes, Mommy?" "Release the frog. Apologize to your sister. And if I find one more amphibian, reptile, or insect in this house, I'm confiscating your nature encyclopedia for a week." His face crumples. The encyclopedia—a birthday gift from Grandmother Rosa—is his most prized possession.

I smiled and sped up, running into him a little as I skidded to a stop and laughed. “Look, I told you I caught a frog.” He held out his phone and I took it, looking at the screen. A huge dark green toad took up the whole screen. “Oh, dude! That’s a toad, even better. Is it squishy?” Tucker opened his mouth wide, grabbing his head. “Oh, man! You’re right, it is a toad. Yeah, it’s squishy. And it gets all wet when you touch it. It was so gross.”

I declined into the chair, my eyes scanning the room. Ella did the last button of Ivy's pajamas and smiled at me. I flashed a signal to Ella to help me out and she laughed, her fingers pointing to a nearby shelf in the room where all of Ivy's bedtime stories were arranged. I walked over to the shelf and picked a book barely glancing over to see it's contents. I sat back into my chair and was about reading when I skimmed it through the first chapter. The story was about a frog who dared to dream, going on an whimsical adventures. “I'm going to be telling you the story of the frog who dared to dream that he could change the frogville.”

I pointed out. “Okay, all fair. And I’m quasi-Jewish. My dad’s Christian doesn’t go to church, but whatever. Thus I get Christmas and to enjoy all meats unrestricted. Well, except for frogs. Whenever Ben or his mom has offered me frog legs, I just smile and say, ‘sorry, it’s not kosher.’ I’ll eat Miss Piggy all day, but I’ll be damned if I’ll touch Kermit.” Collin explained. I furrowed my brow and shook my head. “Okay, that sounds really creepy. Just saying. Cause it sounded like you wanted to go down on a muppet.” I stifled a laugh.
