I haven't danced with anyone, since Eddy passed, over fourteen years ago. It felt wonderful, too. I hope I get to do it again." Susan held her arms up as if she had an invisible partner, took a few waltz steps, and twirled into Lori. "Whoa, there, Suse. Don't get too excited. John's moving on as soon as he finishes this job. You are aware, right?" Lori reminded her.

The cold winter wind made it easy to catch a chill, and with the new show coming up, the last thing they needed was a group of ill trainees. Debra rolled up her sleeves, her eyes flashing with determination. "Fine! Mr. Odom, are you interested in dancing a number with me?" Chace snorted, "Who are you to dance with Mr. Odom?" Edgar raised a hand, silencing the secretary. Standing up, he asked, "What are we dancing?"

Especially when the drink was in an open container, but Eddie didn’t qualify as a stranger, did he? Eddie was staring at me expectantly, so I took a long sip. He was right. It didn’t taste terrible. “How about we dance now?” he asked after I finished my drink. I was nervous again. I wasn’t a very good dancer, and I didn’t feel like making a fool of myself tonight. “I don’t know about that…” I said and giggled. “Oh, come on, Marina. We are already here, so let’s have a good time,” he said.

“We’ll talk later though.” Zoey nodded. As soon as they reached the ball, Damien had to attend something important so he decided to leave her alone for a little while. Zoey started to get looks from people but she quickly smiled at them which made them embarrassed, leaving them to turn their heads away. Just then, she felt a light tap on her bare shoulder which made her turn around in shock. “May I have this dance with my beautiful Zoe?”, Edward asked as he held his hand out for her.

He did his usual thing where he sat me at the table and headed off to get a tray for us to share. Jared and Shane and some of the other guys had started following his example. Lately more and more people have been coming by the table, to say hello or to hang. There was something strange going on at Eden High; the shift was almost palpable. I had missed it in the beginning, too preoccupied with my own blossoming affair. Belle has been keeping me posted though she herself wasn't sure what was the cause of the power change. Daily it seemed more and more, that the once popular girls were losing their following.

How life had its surprises. Eric was already a dancer, actually he had a dance school here that he taught. Eden got her passion for dancing from her cousin when she sat in on a few classes when she was young and came to Korea sometimes. Eric also taught her the basics which is how she got into university on a dancing scholarship, by showing her skills. After a while of talking to two of her favourite people, she decided to go home and relax a little. But she also really wanted to go back to Malakai. She got into her car once again and debated which direction to go. Home or the agency?

I ended up failing every exam. Finals were coming up soon. If I failed one more time, I would be forced to drop out of the academy. After dinner that evening, my dance instructor, Cameron Carter, called me to the studio and offered to help me practice. I pushed open the door and walked in. The dance studio, which was usually packed with students, was now empty except for Cameron and me. He stood in the center of the room, his eyes roaming over me while a faint smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

After a while, seeing that I didn’t lower my gaze like the rest of the candidates had, he smiled and moved on to look at the others. When he finished looking at us, he introduced himself as Eduardo. Just that—no last name, no nickname. He added that he was the owner of a chain of cabarets and casinos. He said he only needed five new dancers, so not all of us would get to perform that night. He would start by watching five of us, and if he was satisfied, the rest would be considered for a future opportunity.

When I look at the owner, I saw a man who looked unfamiliar at all, whose looking at me without any emotion. "Care to have a dance with me?" He asked. His voice is deep, yet it sounds gentle in my ears. I just cannot believe why he's offering me a hand, not minding how I awfully looked right now since I am crying hard. I don't even know if he know my name or me at all. "Let's dance away your heavy feeling," He said before holding my hand and put it above his shoulders, then he guided me towards the center, and we slowly danced together with the soft music.

But wait don't you think this needs a dance yeah i think so. I played " No more sad song by Little Mix" and i kept dancing yeah apart from food the thing i love most in this world is dancing sometimes i do go for competitions done in the streets and i always come as the winner well you know what my mum knows about my obesity with music and dancing but she doesn't know i go for competitions why because she hates it she doesn't want me to go to music line. She get furious anytime she sees me doing it but i don't care why because I am me. I danced for like two hours but i kept feeling I am forgetting something i wonder what that is. Oh my God my job! its past an hour already what am I gonna do
