She smirked lightly, "Demons are cocky bastards and being so full of themselves. That is always their downfall." "Humans are just as bad, ya know." He said as he nodded to a couple of customers that were tucked off in a booth against the far wall. "Danny over there just got out of rehab for his meth addiction, but he bounced right back into it not so long after." He glanced to the clock on the wall just above the door. "Any second now."

It was hilarious stepping out of my routine to something more fun. We toured as much amazing grounds in Detroit, picking anything fun or groceries that needed to be replaced in the house. We then decided to end the night drinking at a very popular club. The music in the club was beating with excitement as the youths in the club danced, drank, laughed and made out. It was wild, the air stunk but the mood was careless. We sat at the bar as the bartender approached me. “What can I get you beautiful?” He asked as I scratched my hair.

One month after Grant had been sent to prison, a fire had broken out. Only three people had died. "Ruby", Danny, and Grant. Sandy stepped down as mayor while I went back to field reporting. In my last life, this man would have been one of the thousands who had died. Now, he stood in front of me, healthy as could be. There were no words. I had really done it. I had saved them.
