He didn't seem to notice my little show though, but his gaze often settled on me. We finally settled on a design; a beautiful, delicate tattoo of a phoenix feather that curled and twisted into the shape of a blooming rose. It was perfect. The phoenix, a symbol of rebirth and transformation, and the rose, a symbol of beauty and growth. "It’s beautiful," I breathed, my eyes wide. "I love it." He smiled. "Good. Now, where do you want it? The location is important. It can make or break the design." I had no idea. "Where's the least painful area?" I asked sheepishly.

She was shy away and hid her in my chest. I placed her in a hot shower, pressing her back to me and kissed her neck. I was stunned when I opened my eyes. “Most are more ‘in the moment’ types of things, but there are a few that are close to my heart.” When she hears me say that, I see her fingers stop moving and she leans closer to look at where my heart is. He looked like he was carved out of a stone, so majestic and mythical. I was flabbergasted and speechless. He was also having a tattoo on his left arm. It was a creeper plant with roses and it was intertwined with thorns. There was also a black wolf howling near it and the moon was above the plant. The art was beautiful and the guy himself was a rare piece of art.

She mutters under her breath then shrugs and continues; “If you look closely, the pattern on her wedding gown are roses, a popular symbol of love. The flowers growing in the shrubs just behind her are heliotropes.” “Heliotropes?” Evin nods. “Another symbol of eternal love and loyalty.” She shifts from one foot to the other. “You’d think the fact that the same shade of blue topaz was used on their eyes somehow means that the wolf is just Luna in her shifted form, but it’s not.” A thoughtful pause settles over her.

The tattoos went to her jawline, so that her face was framed within them, her cheeks gaunt and eyes shadowed.
