Chapter 9 - Little Spitfire

I get it that he was so heartbroken but no one gave him the right to yell at me like that. I was just looking after him the previous night. I heaved a sigh and went into the bathroom and washed my face. My clothes were wrinkled because I had nothing to change into, while I slept the night.

I picked up my medicines, and ready to get out of his packhouse but a knock was heard on my door when I was about to open it.

I opened it to come, face to chest with Xander. He looked so stoic because of our previous encounter, his hands were fisted and his jaw was clenched. As if, he was ready to attack me.

He looked fresh out of the shower, his hair was messy but in a good way. He was wearing a black button-down shirt with blue jeans.

"I'll take you to your granny's home. We will grab our brunch on our way," he rather stated and started walking with his long strides. He didn't even glance at me.
