Gaea I lay flat on my stomach, my chin resting on the back of my hand as I stared at my laptop screen. Still blank. Not a single word. The blinking cursor felt like it was mocking me—each second dragging, each silent beat reminding me that I was failing again. Again. I closed my eyes. And just like that— He appeared. Clyden. That smirk. Those eyes—sharp, knowing, almost dangerous. The way he looked at me that night… like he already understood me. Like he saw something in me I hadn’t even discovered yet.

' 'What made me so different? Oscar frowned, the deep wrinkles on his forehead furrowing into harsh lines over his brows. 'Do you know what? I have no idea now I come to think of it. I mean, I always did love a bird with a bit of sass, but when it comes to business, there's still a line you don't cross. You still gotta show a bit of respect, ain't ya? But with you, it always was different. Maybe it was latent Endorian sorcery working its magic on me, who knows?'

"Looking forward to see how it turns out. I just wish we could get it done quicker." Lucus looked towards the Omega sitting down. She looked sad in a way, but still had the beaming gleam in her eyes as she looked towards her new show script. He knew she was sad that he couldn't go home for spring break, and for the first time Lucus really felt bad for the Omega.

As soon as he’d entered town, that had been the first place he had sought out. A shooting range. Tucked securely somewhere in a black neighborhood, GREZZO offered its service to anyone as long as they paid the yearly subscription fee and signed the NDA. The warm décor would sway anyone who wasn’t familiar with this peculiar shooting range. Gunshots echoed somewhere inside the building. Barely concealed by the lead walls, were bloodcurdling shrieks and brays of animals. Unperturbed by the unusual sounds, he strolled to his locker. It held his earmuffs and his Glock. He had specifically requested for a Glock. And with the way things were going, he might, one day, be forced to sneak it out GREZ

The cedarwood scent from Oscar flared like a wall of fire, completely burning away the lingering traces of Duncan’s sandalwood. "Take your hands off my counter, and take your garbage paperwork out of my shop, Alonso," Oscar growled, his lips curling back to reveal his sharp white fangs. The golden light in his eyes was blinding. "I don't care what your city machines printed out. The woman stays here."

This was all about se8x and submission. Oscar picked the crop back up. He had a dark look in his eyes. I tried to hold back a shiver but it shimmied through me anyway. "This is going to hurt, baby girl. You may cry out, but you don't have to count. I'm going to make it quick."

Except he was the person on the bike that night. “You’ve been following me around?” I narrowed my gaze, my fingers curling into a fist. Imagine how the press would ravage it. ‘Tom Rivers is becoming an Omega for Gerard Vance, the man who created the Omega drug so Alphas could fall in love.” He paused, staring at me. “Beautiful headline. Do you think your father would like it?”

Nervous. Good. Caroline slid up next to me, her hand brushing my arm for the cameras. “Play nice,” she murmured. “Nice is for pussies,” I muttered back, taking a long swig. “I want him broken. Reputation in the gutter again. Scouts running the other way.” Caroline’s smile didn’t waver. I grunted. The beer tasted like victory already. Maddox thought he was climbing out of the hole we dug for him. Playbook show.

Worst of it all, what if he passes a death sentence? “Are you scared of getting your ass kicked, Styles?” One of the best at my level, Scott, scorned me as he approached the exit.
