“You hungry, Mariah?” Mariah knew if she said yes, she could buy herself some time, but what is the point of postponing a certain doom? Besides, she was anything but hungry. And so, she shook her head. “Good,” Edward said and with that, he telepathically moved some books to Mariah and dumped them on her laps. “These are all we can find on dragons.” His words made Mariah’s heart stop beating and she looked up at him in shock, not believing her ears.

The Seal The scissors opened by themselves. Slowly. One blade lifting from the other with a rusted scrape that made every nerve in my body stand up and object. Damien moved between me and the little table. I let him. That should tell you how badly the room had scared me. The scissors stopped moving. Open. Waiting. The silver bowl beside them filled with liquid. Not water. Not blood. Something clear and bright that gave off a faint silver glow. I looked down at my mother’s letter again.

Lucifer said. Lucifer then moved to the Edward's fingers and he cut them all both his right and left hand. Edward screamed till he could no longer scream again as he had loss so much blood in his body. He could barely keep his eyes open. “ You better keep your eyes open I'm not done with you ” Lucifer glared dangerously at him. ★ ★ ★

My eyes drift up to his bound wrists, and I raise the scissors towards them. His whole body begins vibrating with panicked anticipation as I open the scissors around his smallest finger. Staring into his eyes, I flash him my fangs, and snap the scissors shut, cutting the finger clean off just below the knuckle. His muffled screams of agony fill the room as blood pours from his hand. “Might as well make it even,” I mutter to myself, and he doesn’t even notice me moving the scissors to his other hand. I go slowly this time, making him really feel it, squeezing the scissors around the same finger on his left hand.

“I love it, sister! This is the best thing that ever happened to me.” Like a classic bookworm, Edith climbed the rolling ladders and explored the bookshelves fondly, his excitement was out of my mind. “What’s so special about those books?” My pack had brilliant libraries, full of war-related books. This massive library was nothing…. “Look, it’s a handwritten scroll of the late Alpha King!” Edith exclaims halted me in my tracks, I pounced at him immediately to snatch that scroll. “No, no, no. It’s impossible!”

My leg catches the edge of a pile of books. Shit, I think to myself as the books topple over, echoing through the room. Edith’s prowling stops. I can hear her sniff the air, and almost feel as though I can hear her ears perk up at the sound of the books falling. “Hmm, I wonder where Ruby could be,” she says, her voice coming closer. I slide away from the stairs, still keeping low, and back up against the far side of the balcony to get as far away as possible.

He just followed her but hid himself behind a bookshelf next to the one she was checking at. She found the book Zalmoxis—or more likely, her hand found the book. She took it while she blinked in curiosity, heart pounding so fast. She felt the book vibrate at her touch. She ran her tongue across her lips and looked for a table where she could sit down and scan it.

Kathrena wondered aloud, her fingers stroking the worn edge of the book. “It’s a Book of Shadows,” I said, gently moving my hand past Kath’s and opening it to the first page. Like the newspapers, it smelt old, but it had a herby scent rather than one of cigarettes and coffee. “A what?” Skye asked, cocking his head to one side as he examined it. “Of course,” Kathrena breathed. “Witches.” “You know about them?” I frowned.

Manang Lydia said. “Does she allow that?” Manang Lydia smiled and winked at me. “If you are feeling fine, then you can.” I went upstairs and went to Dale’s library. Before picking up a book to read, I enjoyed looking, rooming around first, leaving a gentle touch to every book I passed by. My gaze at the “The Scorch Trial” book that was written by James Dashner. I already finished reading “The Maze Runner”. I decided to read it and went to the garden.

He had always been frightened of the scary sculptures and the carvings on the two storey high shelves. He searched for hours but couldn't find any book related to the blood moon beast. He got tired an rested on one of the shelves and to his greatest surprise the shelf rolled inwards and he found himself in another room. Taz guessed the room had been unused for so many years, as everywhere was covered with Spider webs. Taz turn on a small torchlight which he had taken along with him before sneaking inside the sacred library.
