Elden Ring Golden Vow Location Novels & Stories

Sophia asked again, turning to face Vanessa who smirked. She waved her hands as a book appeared in it. “I wasn’t done with my description when you came in!”. Vanessa said, daring her to back down. Sophia confidently answered, “go on!”. “Aurum Delirium can be found in the shadow realm, the deepest part of the forest, where it is not dark nor light!”, she paused, circling around her. “And the only way to get there is through the forbidden grove, a portal filled with magic and danger, only the bravest can get out of it, without being trapped by the illusion!”. She stopped circling around her. Facing her, “so little witch, do you dare to go?”.

“What happened? Tell me.” I clutch his shirt, breathing hard, the rune’s image still burning behind my eyelids. “A vision,” I whisper, voice trembling. “Elowen… she showed me an altar. In Shadow Ridge’s sacred grove. A silver medallion marked with a crescent moon cradling a star locked inside. We need to find it. For the ritual. It anchors everything, binds the blessing to… to my true mate’s strength. To break the curse.” His arms tighten around me, jaw clenching. “We’ll find it,” he vows, low and fierce. “Whatever it takes. We’ll go back if we have to.”

A vision flashed—Eleanor on a blood-soaked bed, gasping, “Not the pup. The bond.” That night, Elara slipped into the forbidden vault. Dust clogged her lungs as she ran a hand over the cracked mirror. It slid aside, revealing stone steps. At the bottom, a silver box glowed. Inside: a locket with a lock of dark hair, and Eleanor’s note: Elders poison us in childbirth. They fear what Voss blood does to alphas. The crimson mark screams when they’re near. Run. A floorboard creaked.

she quickly added, "but that's what makes it cool." Oh, yeah. I also don't have the best reputation. But I'm over that. I'm starting anew, right? "Yeah, sure." I shifted uncomfortably in my seat and cleared my throat. "So, I've overheard them talking about the last personal object from the Great Witch. A golden trinket. They're going to use it in their ritual to have a stronger connection with her, in order to make this impossible ritual possible," I uttered. When no one spoke, I continued, "This golden trinket is somewhere in the world. And they're determined to find it."

The wedding hall smelled like pine, roses, and too many lies. Elara Voss stood near the back in a simple navy dress she’d bought just for this, clutching her clutch like it was armor. Five years... She’d sworn she’d never come back to the Thorn pack, yet here she was, summoned by her father’s guilt trip and the threat of family “disgrace.”

Tucked a strand behind my ear. The elevator doors slid open. I stepped inside. Pressed the button for the lobby. The ride down felt endless. I flagged a cab. Slid into the back seat. “Gold district. The one on Carver Street.” The driver nodded sharply. Pulled away. My fingers slipped into my bag. Found the small velvet pouch. I pulled it out, drawstring loosened at once. The ring slid into my palm, gold band, circle of small diamonds catching the sunlight through the window.

"They’ve tracked the obsidian box. They aren't following the car—they’re following the Heart." He slammed the car into gear and floored it, the tires spitting mud as we fish-tailed back onto the highway. "I thought the Foundry was secure!" I yelled, clutching the dashboard. "It was! But the Heart is singing, Elara. Ligeia must have used a blood-ritual to tune her seekers to its frequency. They’ll follow us to the ends of the earth."

It was close enough to Elara to feel personal but different enough to be unrecognizable. My first stop was the Black Lantern Inn, a large and rough place known for its discretion. The owner, a stout woman with keen eyes, barely looked up. “A private room. No questions, no disruptions,” I said, handing over a pouch full of the gold coins Mora had given me. The woman didn’t count the money. She judged the authority in my voice. “Third floor. Back corner. The name?” “Elyra. I am here for business.” “Everyone is,” she grunted, sliding a rusted key across the counter.

“Something lingers here. A secret. Not just in the pack… but in the very ground we walk. I can feel it.” Elara’s silver sparks glimmered softly across her arms, her fingers brushing his in a tender, grounding touch. The bond thrummed harder, answering her. “Then we uncover it together,” she whispered, her voice low but resolute. “Always.” The pull of the bond guided their steps, drawing them deeper into the forest, past ancient roots twisted like sleeping guardians. At last, they reached a secluded chamber carved beneath the oldest sacred trees. The entrance was cloaked in silence and vines, a place the pack had long avoided out of reverence—or fear.

The golden tether blazed, swallowing the shadows, burning them away until only light remained—searing, blinding, undeniable. The chamber shuddered violently. The carved wolves cracked, stone splitting under the force of their bond. Flames leapt from the runes, consuming the circle in a blaze of crimson and gold. Wolves cried out, some shielding their eyes, others howling in awe. When the fire died, Elaria and Draven still knelt together, their joined hands dripping blood onto shattered stone. The golden tether pulsed steady and strong between them, unbroken. Silence fell.
