Elden Ring Golden Vow Location Novels & Stories

“Join me, and claim the power you deserve!” A handful of wolves howl in agreement, their eyes glinting violet. Ryland roars, leaping at Jarek. Their collision sends shockwaves through the tomb, stone pillars collapsing under the force. --- **Selene’s Gambit** I weave through the chaos, my glow repelling the Veil’s corrosive rain. The golden crow guides me to the pedestal, where three empty slots wait. “We need the dark shard,” I mutter, slotting the golden pieces. The mirror’s frame hums, its light stuttering.

"You’ve bonded your souls, but your bodies are still fighting the transition. If you don't find the Anchor in the next forty-eight hours, the silver will crystallize in your heart. You'll become a statue of the god you were meant to be." Iris gasped, her hand flying to my chest. "The Anchor? Where is it?" "In the place where your mother and father first met," Eveline said, her eyes fixing on mine. "The ruins of the Winter Palace. In the Heart of the Shadow Lands." I looked at Iris. The sarcasm died in my throat. We were being sent back into the dark, into the one place even the wolves feared to tread. "The interest on this debt is getting ridiculous, Iris," I whispered, leaning in to kiss he

I knelt, tucked my hair behind my ears with fingers that weren't quite steady, and pried the board up. And there it was. Mother's cedar chest, tucked into a hollow beneath my childhood bedroom floor like something meant to stay hidden. "What are you doing here?" I whispered, as if the chest itself might answer. My hands trembled as I lifted the lid. Inside, nestled against dark velvet, sat two things: a letter sealed in wax the color of dried blood, and a ring engraved with a strange, looping E that seemed to catch the light wrong, like it was watching me. The letter was addressed to *the last of the Elowen line.*

Rhen pressed a hand over her mouth, tears finally slipping free after a night that had asked far too much of her already, and I pulled her gently against my side without a single word, letting her simply feel it for a moment before the next crisis inevitably arrived, my arm wrapped tight around her shaking shoulders. Ysolde cleared her throat softly after a respectful pause, her expression grim with fresh urgency, the pages in front of her rustling faintly as she squared them into order. “There is one more thing your grandmother’s information gives us, Rhen. A location. She believed Ilsevet’s original binding site, the very first door, still exists somewhere beneath old Ashveil ground.”

They had no choice. The trio pressed forward, weaving through the gnarled forest under the blood-red moon’s ominous glow. The trees whispered dark secrets in an ancient tongue, shadows stretching long and sinister. The amulet in Saraphina’s hand glimmered faintly, a fragile beacon against the encroaching darkness. “Where is this ritual?” Sarah asked, voice trembling. Elara pointed ahead to a clearing barely visible through the dense branches. “The Hollow’s Heart the ancient altar where the bloodline’s vow was first made.”

“I got your message.” There was a brief pause on the other end, followed by a soft exhale. “Good. Did anyone see you?” “No,” Ayra said. “I don’t think so.” “Good, good,” Eleanor repeated. “Listen carefully. You don’t have much time, and neither do I.” Ayra gripped the phone tighter, her heart pounding in her chest. “The photograph I sent you is the planned wedding venue,” Eleanor explained. “It is known as the Gardene L'Villais.

My hands tremble as I approach him. He doesn’t look at me. Just shifts slightly. “There should be a keepsake, there, behind the tapestry.” he murmurs. “For morale.” I find it where he wanted me to, a scrap of velvet. Black, gold threaded. The Velvet Coil insignia, impossible, unmistakable. Etched into the metal beneath it, nearly invisible: WATCH THE VOWS. TRUST THE FIRE. SHE IS LYING ABOUT THE GATE. My breath catches. **********

The grand hall of Silvercrest Packhouse thrummed with forced revelry. Crystal chandeliers cast golden light over laughing pack members, the scent of spiced wine and roasted venison thick in the air. But beneath the music and clinking goblets, tension coiled like a serpent ready to strike. Elara Voss stood at the edge of the crowd, her emerald gown hugging every curve like a second skin, the fabric still faintly carrying the dried evidence of Kael’s earlier claim in the corridor.

That was the only way forward from here, the only move that made sense when secondhand information ran out. I turned and walked in the direction of the grand hall without hesitation. The Silver Moon Dance was last night, which meant the hall was the last confirmed place Elara was seen. It was the only starting point I had, and if her scent was traceable anywhere it would begin there, in the space where she spent the early part of her evening before Freya lost sight of her in the crowd. The grand hall was quiet now, the decorations from the night before still in place but the energy completely gone from the space.

The generations of golden wolves harvested and used and discarded deserved it retrospectively, as much as anything could be given retrospectively. The crown pulsed. Gold first. Then red. Then both together, that nameless color that belonged to neither bloodline alone. Warm light spread slowly across the canyon floor. "First part complete," Elowen said quietly. The second part was harder. Anchoring the crown required pressing it physically into the stone above the vault, not forcing it, but willing the stone to receive it. To recognize it. Elowen had warned it would resist initially. She wasn't wrong.
