After breakfast, the three of them returned to the old patient ledger. The book was enormous. Its leather cover cracked as Ethan carefully opened it. Inside were handwritten names, dates, and patient numbers. Vanessa leaned closer. “These records go back twenty years.” Lila slowly turned the pages. Each line represented someone’s story. A birth. A family. A beginning. Then… She stopped. “There.” She pointed to an entry. Elena Rivers Admission Date. The same night Lila was born. Elena's POV I can certainly confirm that I don't know how to use the gift that Nuna left me. Sometimes I pass out and have dream like visions. Sometimes it even feel like I am there. Even still I am positive about the progress I am making and soon I will be able to tell people exactly what it is that we are facing. I can only hope that we can be able to find a way to get to the truth. Mason's diary was the first clue. It didn't speak much about a darkness but rather a man and a woman with a forbidden love. I opened the diary to the year where I met Pietro. February 27, 2001. I closed my eyes and tried recalling his face. Whitney sat down while looking at me, she waits patiently.
