Ella said and pulled out one of the book of which resulted to the rest falling to the ground.

She was so tired, but she still gave an excited smile. “I get to sleep like a mermaid…” she said, and then immediately drifted off again.

I shouted, suspecting that something was wrong with Claude, the scout sent by the elves. The bookcase suddenly fell, almost hitting me and Cryan and Gylen, who were still on the other side. I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

So, whenever I felt sad, I hid inside. The air smelled like paper and dust, and everything inside was old and dusty. The books on the shelves didn't have pictures on the cover like my books, and they were huge. I couldn't have completed reading one book even if I kept reading it for years, that's how big they were. Elena most probably could have finished the book; she liked reading books a lot more than I did.

Ethan and Elsa didn't seem to mind but Elma was distraught and retreated up to her room as well. I sighed. She was a sweetheart but she had to learn to live without me sometimes. I locked my door. Until suddenly, Amora saw a book that was on the top shelf. The book was dark purple in color and had white beads that glowed and the only book that gave off a white glow. "Alex, that book looks interesting could you please get me the book?" Amora said while pointing at the shelf where the book was, Alex suddenly looked at the book and nodded to his mother as a sign that he was going to take the book.
