My gaze lingered on her lips as she removed her glasses and tiptoed to kiss me on the lips. I pulled closer as I deepened the kiss. A surge of desire rushed through my veins as Elisa moaned softly and I pulled away wrapping my arms around her and we just stood there in silence. It's a bittersweet moment that brings back memories of how our relationship ended many years ago and how Elisa almost lost her license because of me. Yes I fell for her first and damn I fell hard. Elisa was from a very influential family and her parents wanted her to become a doctor but she was more interested in literature and psychology and that's why she became a therapist.

I thought this kind of situation only happened at school. “Please sit here.” She pointed to the chair next to Larissa. “I prefer to stand.” “That's fine.” She sat in a chair facing us. “Very good. Larissa came to tell me what happened with you two.” “Who are you?” I asked. “Oh, sorry. My name is Elisa. I'm a psychologist.” “Psychologist?” I asked with raised eyebrows. “Yes.” “You don't want me to apologize to her, do you?” “You don't have to do what you don't want to do.”

“No, I don't think so. I'm only putting Eloise through. She is still a kid, and probably might not know the right thing to do.” Eloise slammed her hands on the desk as she rose to her feet defensively. “I am not a kid!” Right! I got her! Eloise was just twenty before I came back to this lifetime, meaning she is sixteen now. Girl! I am ten years older than you! My lips curled in a smile as I looked at her. “Sweetheart, you are sixteen. You need an adult to put you through sometimes.” My voice was calm. “You know what? I'm done here.” She huffed, rolled her eyes, and stormed away.

Venice’s voice was persistent, carrying a playful edge that was quickly becoming irritating. “I’m telling you, Rafael,” she said, her tone teasing. “Elisse is the one you’ve been smitten with. We thought she’s in a legal age but actually a minor! Well, she looks mature for her age. I remember when we were shooting that commercial in the province, and you couldn’t stop talking about her. It’s the same girl, right?” Rafael’s voice came next, quieter, more guarded. “Venice, not now.” But Venice wasn’t backing down. “Come on, admit it. You’ve got that look in your eye when you’re around her. What’s the deal, huh? You’re not fooling anyone, Rafael.”

I asked them. "I have seen her a while ago, Miss Winter. She said she's just going to play in the living room." Maggie replied. She's a twenty-year old with red bob hair who loves to play with Elisse. I don't even know why, but Elisse told me Maggie is her favorite among our maids. Probably because they play together a lot. "But she's not in there." I replied.

She gives me a wide smile as we arrive at the kindergarten. I love it when she says ‘our’ because it truly makes me feel like we are a family. We have come a long way and most of it is thanks to Elisha. This woman was fifty years old and yet she still had the energy and the looks of a thirty year old woman. Frankly, when I think about it, it seems like she hasn’t aged a day since we met each other. It must be some special power given to her for all the kind deeds she’s done throughout her life. I think she deserves it all.

I'm guessing she's five years old. "Not now," said Elisa with smile appear. "You go to the shop next door with the other kids, okay?" She gave candy to the girl and the girl ran to the shop next door. "Your daughter?" investigate me. "Yes, the only one." "How old are you?" "Twenty-two years, why?" she asked. “Woah, still young, huh.” I rushed into the car to move this thing forward a little so that the carrier could unload the luggage easily. After my car moved, Carl and I helped unload the car.

Elisa gave her one of those rare warm smiles that made her eyes crinkle at the corners and beautiful age lines that she wore proudly showed on her face. Rain was pretty sure she loved the woman at this point. “I will see you later girl, now off you go,” Great, the scowl was back and so was the shooing. Rain laughed and left the room. The second she was out of the bedroom and the door was shit behind her, her smile fell and a long sigh escaped her. Elisa was being so good to her but that only reminded her more of her problems. Elisa was brought here through almost similar consequences, she’s been here for the past thirty three years!

Her grip tightens on her coat. “She’s quite young for a Personal Assistant to you, John, isn’t she?” Elise steps forward, the cape shifting, exposing bare skin underneath. She revealed her naked skin purposely. Just that act alone is like saying a silent, yet unspoken ‘this is what I am to him. What are you?’ Ingrid swallows. I watch her throat move. She’s measuring her response. “Eighteen,” she says finally. Elise hums, dragging the silence between them like a blade across glass. “Eighteen.” She glances at me. “Your Personal Assistant?”

she smirks, looking at her brother. " Don't call me that," he hisses. The two start to bicker, and Halsey lets out a sigh, " Stop it, you two. Why do you still bicker like children? You're too old for this," she scolds gently. How old is Eloise? She looks to be in her early twenties, though, like my age mate, but she is older than Zuriel, so she's not in her twenties. " Okay, a toast," smiles Halsey, and they grab their glasses. I get my water.
