She asks with a pout. “This is not your sixth it’s your first book launch Nina.” “That doesn’t matter, what matters is how mad I am at you right now.” “That hottie is Theo Kingsley,” I tell her while I grab another box and open it. She drops her pen and stares at me in shock, “You mean..” “Yep, Mira Kingsley’s son and Katherine’s brother,” I confirm her shock. “Wow, I never expected that,” she mutters, still in disbelief.

“Or is it all just… a coincidence? That Madam Kingsley happens to be a shareholder in the Farwell Group?” The weight of the question lands heavily. Eliot slowly lifts his head, his face unreadable but pale, drawn. “I never thought of that.” His voice is quiet. Almost ashamed. He leans back in his chair, one hand pressing against his temple, the other fidgeting with the corner of a file folder. “I knew the Kingsley family had their fingers in everything… I just never thought to connect them to her. To Sherah.” He looks up at Harlene. “And now that you’ve said it... I can’t unsee it.”

“Elliot, how's your leg? Weren't you supposed to be able to walk?" Elliot replied calmly, "It hasn't healed that much yet." "Ah, well, it's all good as long as there's hope for recovery. Dr. Sophia is amazing!" Sophia modestly brushed off the compliment. After walking away, she leaned in and asked him, "Who was that?" Elliot whispered back, "He's one of my dad’s six siblings, my second uncle, James Patton. He usually stays close with Edmund and the others,” Sophia teased, "No wonder his eyes kept glancing at your leg."

’ Silas wondered, his gaze locked on her. He remembered well how Noelle and Brian were inseparable. They were childhood best friends who knew everything about each other. Everyone talked about it in high school. The Rowans and the Kingsleys were close. Silas had seen it himself. When Noelle won awards, Brian’s family would send flowers and gifts to celebrate her. Silas had once attended one of Brian Kingsley’s birthday parties and had seen the family portraits displayed there. Noelle appeared in many of them. In short, she had once been treated like a daughter of the Kingsley family.

I suggested gently. "Huh?" "Yeah. Actually, back then, Kingsley impregnated a lady when he had just started college and ended up taking responsibility and marrying her. The lady didn't want Kingsley to abandon her and ended up giving birth to more kids despite the fact that he wasn't ready for it. But I think six years ago, his wife cheated on him and they got divorced. His kids are actually four, not five, unless he got another wife. Two live with him while the remaining two are with his ex-wife."

They are younger, probably teenagers. HIs Auntie Lisa and Uncle Timmy I think it was his dad’ sister. They have four kids, around our age, I think. Thomas, Joey, Brian and Amanda. Then His uncle John, dads other brother. He has two kids but they weren't there. Then just as we were walking to our table, I saw Owen and Emilyfinaly, and I almost, almost started crying. Elliot looks down and says “We got the rehab to let him lose a few hours, he has to be back by eleven or he turns into a pumpkin.”

"Are you saying that...you're a part of the royal family. And this princess....your twin sister, is me?" "Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. I know it's hard to believe but-" "Hard to believe?" I giggled. "No Elliot, it's impossible. How am I a royal Princess? Me? Of all people? And how am I so sure you are part of the royal family?" Elliot seemed unfazed from my outburst. He seemed so calm, it made me realise that his words may actually hold some substance. Elliot reached for his shirt, and pulled it up, all the way to his neck.
