Olivia Fred walked out of her room when she woke up. She walked towards the living room. She was already dressed up and ready to go to school. She is still studying at the university. She was not done yet; after all, she stopped going to school because of Alex. When he realized that she wanted to elope with Ethan Owell in her previous life, he made her stop going to school. She looked around the living room and saw that it was empty. She walked towards the dining room and saw him sitting down there with his childhood friend, Luke.

He’s engaged and you are being rude. “Yeah, uh we’re kind of a thing now. At least trying to be.” I shrug. He crosses his arms and his arm muscles bulge. “Considering I’ve never seen a girl come out of that room, I’d say it’s going pretty well.” Heck yeah! I’m the only woman he’s had at his place. Her phone rang again, and the voice of Elliot Everhart's daughter, Eleanor Everhart, came through. "Vivian, hurry up and get over here; you promised you'd try the roller coaster with me!" Victor gripped the hem of my shirt tightly.

Even more laughter rang out. Damon’s expression remained unreadable as ever. The Alpha wasn’t finished. Of course, he wasn’t. He grinned widely. Then, I asked the question that destroyed everything. “So tell us, future Alpha.” The crowd went quiet. “If Elliot is this obsessed with you…” His grin widened. “Would you ever consider him as your mate?” For a second, nobody spoke. Nobody moved. The entire gathering seemed frozen in anticipation. My heart pounded so hard it hurt. I couldn’t look up.

Olivia "I can't find the reason why you didn't tell me the truth, Olivia! I thought we're best friends. Felix said, his gaze fixed on the stars above. Olivia grinned and said, "Yes, it's...breathtaking." “So what do you do?” Felix asked Olivia. “I'm an art student.” Olivia found herself enjoying Felix's company as they spoke, and as their conversations deepened, she began to flirt with him; she was drunk. Felix tried to keep the conversation light-hearted, he spoke softly, and listened carefully to what she had to say. However, Olivia's emotions were all over the place, she was hurt and angry, and the alcohol she had boosted her confidence.

I’d made this mess. Olivia came back just seconds later, walking with a little more bounce in her step. She glanced between us, her eyes narrowing slightly. “What’s with the tension?” she asked, light and teasing, trying to keep the mood up. I forced a smile, thin and practiced. “Elliot’s just sad Luciana will be gone for a few days.” Luciana chuckled and kissed his cheek. “Don’t miss me too much.” Elliot smiled back, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. It was the kind of smile you put on when someone’s watching. Not real. Just polite.

Olcan replies, “So are you. I have the best mate.” When I finally got off of him, I got under the covers and waited for him to do the same. When he got into bed, I noticed that my Elliot was back, “There’s my unbelievably hot mate.” He smiled, “I was going to say the same thing. Did you have a good time with Olcan?” I smiled, “I know you were there too.” He shrugged, “Maybe.” I chuckled, “I had an amazing time with Olcan. He’s quite hungry.” Elliot laughed, “That he is.” He wrapped his arms around me and I snuggled in closer, “Elliot, you really are my dream come true. Emma’s POV “That’s insane! You know I’ve never really liked that sneaky bitch!” Olivia fumed, her hands slammed onto her waist as she paced back and forth in my small living room. She looked like she was ready to go to war. Olivia and I had started off as reading partners back in college, and over those four years, we had grown closer than I ever expected. When she moved to San Francisco after graduation, we became even closer. The moment the videos of Trevor and Allysia’s engagement started trending online, Olivia didn't just call. She drove ten miles straight to my apartment, insisting on staying for a week, even though I’d told her over the phone that I was perfectly fine.

Olivia had arranged to meet her at a café across from the Hilton hotel, and by now she should be there. Emily poured herself another large glass of soda water and changed her clothes before heading out. As soon as she stepped out of the building, she spotted Olivia's bright red car parked conspicuously on the opposite side of the street from the hotel.
