Wild Desire

Wild Desire

(A short story) ‘I'M NOT JUST a pretty face, you know!’ To be honest, I’m not even one. I’m more what you'd call ‘bonny’, but Ellis was either too kind or too clever to contradict me. ‘Neither am I,’ she murmured, not strictly responding to my tipsy rantings. Who cared anyway? She was smiling that smile again, the one that'd driven me mad for three weeks and posed far more questions than it answered. Three weeks ago Ellis Delaheigh had arrived from the States to take charge of Jackson-Wordsworth Associates, but for me she’d stirred up far more than the management structure! One look at the divine Ellis and my suspicions about myself grew ...

Daddies Know How She Tastes Better

Daddies Know How She Tastes Better

“Also, I have gossip. The good kind. The kind that needs eye contact.” I poured him a coffee without asking, black, two sugars, the way he’d drunk it since college and leaned against the counter, waiting. Ellis never needed prompting; he just needed an audience. “So,” he started, mouth half-full, “I’m at this little brunch spot in Williamsburg a couple of days ago, place was weirdly packed with people pretending they’re not hungover from family drama. Anyway, I’m sitting at the place with my guys, minding my own business, scrolling through some girl’s Stories, when who walks in but your girl.”

FORBIDDEN ICE: CLAIMING THE CAPTAIN'S SISTER

FORBIDDEN ICE: CLAIMING THE CAPTAIN'S SISTER

“What?” “I turned it down.” Rowan scoffed. “Great. He's not just good at disappearing, he's also really good at being stupid.” “What?” Asher said, louder this time. “Ellis, what the hell—” “I didn’t know if I’d make it out alive,” Ellis simply said. “And I almost didn’t. And even if I did, I didn’t know what I’d wake up able to do. Skating. Walking. Anything.” Rowan huffed weakly. “Yeah. That checks out.”

My Alpha, Her Mate

My Alpha, Her Mate

Grey and I soared. " She is alive, William", Melena confessed quietly and then repeated it with more confidence. " Send for a doctor, her body needs care while Ephraim's essence stitches her spirit and soul back to her body. The good news was spread and everyone was elated. Ellis was carried to my bedroom. I waited in the room for her to wake up. Not knowing how long it would take, I waited a while. Patrick and Susan came to tell me they had postponed the wedding until Ellis wakes up. I begged them to go ahead without us, but they insisted. They spent some time and left.

This is an excellent book - very well written- great story line that’s exciting to follow. It takes you through all the emotions - the highs, the lows, and lower and then brings you up. Highly recommend- just the right amount of love and romance - I couldn’t put it down! You’ll love the heroine!

Two Hours to Save a National Hero

Two Hours to Save a National Hero

Every single word he spoke struck like a hammer. "The recipient of that heart was Professor Michael Ellis. He was a professor at Calenor Academy of Engineering, a recipient of the National Merit Medal for his contributions to our nuclear and satellite programs, and a winner of the nation's highest science and technology lifetime achievement award. "Professor Ellis dedicated his entire life to this country. Yet, 15 minutes ago, he passed away on the operating table because this heart never arrived." He turned around and stared at Edward's coffee-stained face. "It was you. You killed Professor Ellis!"

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

' A young apprentice, no older than a teenager and clearly unaware of Mosby's true nature, asked innocently, "But Mr. Lake, Ellis isn't dead, right? We could take care of him here at Genesis Dispensary until he wakes up! Even if he never wakes up, you're rich, Mr. Lake—you could support him for the rest of his life!" The room fell silent. Then, both Mosby and Old Hayface burst into laughter. Old Hayface chuckled cruelly. "Kid, you're so pure it's almost adorable." Mosby sneered. "Why the hell would I waste money caring for a useless lump like him?" "Hayface, send Ellis off—make it peaceful." Old Hayface grinned. "On it!" Under the terrified gaze of the young apprentice, who looked like he mi

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Awakening

Awakening

The second Melanie swung the door open and I saw the Mayor Redford my reaction surprised even me. I burst out laughing. Loud belly twisted laughter fill the space. Evan, strange and deadly creature he was, had a marvellous sense of humour. He’d strung the Mayor up like a pig on the spit. Wiggling no stop on his stomach like a worm, hands and feet tied together and bound to each other behind his back and he yelled into the make shift gag Evan had fashioned for him. It was truly a sight I would not forget for a long while.

She Was Never Just the Billionaire’s Wife

She Was Never Just the Billionaire’s Wife

(Elias) I have been awake since four. This is not unusual. I’ve been waking up at four for sixty years. My wife, may God rest her, used to say that I woke at four because I was afraid the world was going to do something interesting without me. She was probably right. She was right about most things. Today the world has, in fact, done something interesting without me. It has done it on the internet, where I don’t go, but my assistant Brenda visits on my behalf every morning and prepares me a printed summary.

Who Did I Wake Up As?

Who Did I Wake Up As?

I waited in confusion, expecting Samuel to explain himself, but he simply smiled and said, "Darling, have you really forgotten the photo you took yourself?" He ruffled my hair as if nothing had happened, then turned and stepped out to take the call. I had been in a coma for three years, but I wasn't stupid. I clearly remembered never taking such photos. Samuel was lying to me. He came back soon after and said, "Something's come up at work. I need to head out. Don't wait up."
