There was silence in the next minutes that followed before Ellie and I left. "Who's Williams?" I asked as we began to walk towards our destination. I was getting used to the walk now because I no longer had to think of stepping on thongs. Ellie didn't stop, she continued walking but slowed down her pace. "Williams is the governor. And, he's your uncle too." "My uncle?" I shrugged and froze. "Yes, he's your dad's brother," she replied, coldly. "Why does he want to marry me then?" She stopped abruptly and turned. She was being charged with multiple crimes, including two accounts of attempted murder: messing with Stanley’s medication and shooting Dillon. Plus kidnapping, of course.
