Julianna’s POV Morning sunlight spilled through the crystal domes of Moonspire, scattering rainbows across my walls. For once, the Elven city didn’t hum with the tension I’d grown used to — no formal lectures, no whispers about the “Chronokeeper.” Just laughter, floating up from the streets below. When I stepped out onto the terrace, I finally saw why. The elves were decorating.

“It’s quite big, even bigger than the one in the capital.” “There are more sorcerers in training in our city, Your Grace. Many come from distant regions in Eir.” In her first excursion, Elena just wanted to see the surroundings, so she’d chosen to ride a horse (much to the knights and butler’s chagrin), and her maids were left behind.

Elise answered her friend. “But we have to blend in. Our clothes are really going to tell the people that we are not from this place,” Eric told his sister. “Don’t worry. I’ll fix that problem.” Diana grinned in the dark. “What? How?” Eric asked impatiently. “You wait until we land somewhere Elise has in mind.” They entered the fortified city of Transylvania. Elise’s mind’s eye flashed an important event that occurred. She almost lost her balance but Kent was fast enough to hold her forearm before she would fall down the ground.

All they knew is that when they came upon the elf city, the day was not yet over. At first when the city came into view, they had not known what they were looking at. The ground rose steeply into a tall hill and the trees became vibrant colors of purple, blue and pink that the humans had never seen. Then a beautiful white stone seemed to sprout from the ground. It towered high into the air, scraping at the clouds. Many more towers joined the first, and the city took shape. The tall, thin structures looked like exaggerated mushrooms as elves poked their heads out of windows from various floors to see the newcomers.

Fortunately for Elise, a longer flight was not necessary due to the close proximity. At last, Elise arrived in her beloved hometown. She carefully maneuvered her broom to a safe landing as she blinked continuously to fix her blurry vision caused by the cold air which dried the tears pooling once more in her already puffy eyes. She wandered around the familiar streets of Dentilphia – the noisy and busier part of Moldengork. Dwarves, witches and wizards were everywhere as they strolled around town either to party or cause trouble. Since the area between the capital and the east was bordered by the mountainous area and the Great Forest where the Elves lived, a special location was chosen. A gap between the mountains and the Great Forest, where there was a winding road–which wasn't really giving that much of geographical advantages either for Imperial Soldiers. Then, within seconds, the person was no longer there. ... Amethyst reached another place called Hevean City or the City of Entertainment after she travelled from Dyranz Town which was located in Lareth, the City of The Royals. The travelling hour was too long and she felt her energy draining fast on top of being too hungry. She stood in front of a flashy-looking building that looked nothing like a house that an elf was used to. The building was so big, most probably a bungalow. But, strangely she saw only men entering and exiting the building.

She held on, not entirely coming to enjoy the ride, but appreciating the unique sense of travel offered in the Elven realm. She also appreciated when the wind started to die down, and she landed on her feet a few minutes later. They were on another stone platform graced with greenery. This one looked out over a bustling city that appeared to be a hybrid of modern and ancient, as though a city like New York had sprouted up through the ground and grown alongside the vines and trees. Now, parts of the city were covered by the greenery, and it was an unusual, startling juxtaposition. Orin came over to take her arm, and she finally released her hold on Eamon’s hand.
