Emerald

Emerald

Declan taps the back of my head playfully. Dean laughs, shaking his head, "No. Goliath is very fond of you and Gem. As is Declan, and he respects that you can do that. It's normally only our Luna with that capability or other alphas, even then it's rare they can make us surrender. But now that I am looking at you and thinking back to your mother. You two do resemble the Esos family. Your green eyes. Those emerald piercing green eyes, are rare. Then the color of your fur, jet-black with an emerald green tint."

I've never been so confused in my life. "That's why we want you to find out," Dad says. "What?" They can't be serious. " I'm just finding out that vampires exist and you want me to find out if Chloe's cousin is one? How do I even know she's a vampire? Pour vervain on her?" "Yes." Mrs. Lorenzo blurts, she ignores my mom's harsh stare and she looks at me. "once you pour even a little vervain on her she'll react. She'll wince and her blood will start to boil then her eyes will turn either pure black or blood red."

Falling Stardust

Falling Stardust

"Where have they been all this time? You couldn't be hiding something this big, could you?" Verra laughed, "That's the problem with you old fogeys, only care about fighting. Have any of you ever stopped and studied these energy beasts? They have the ability to shrink down to their original size, that's their talent," She patted a magic device strapped to her leg, This is a planetarium, inside it is an individual space. I think, Eloise, what was it again?"

Brown

He couldn't join her today because he couldn't risk leaving the unknown guest alone. Just as he was about turning to go back inside, he saw Lily. She had something in her mouth. A small backpack. She dropped it at his feet before walking inside. He picked it up and walked inside. After giving Lily a snack for her services, he opened the bag carefully. An empty water bottle, some empty wraps for granola bars and two unopened bars were the contents of the bag. He turned the bag over, shaking the bag vigorously. Nothing else was in the bag but amongst the wraps of granola bars, he noticed a small name tag depicting one name ... Kamara.

Wifey Forever

Wifey Forever

Once I made it to the door i turned around and said, “Lock the door on your way out. And leave my door key!” I made it to work. I checked myself in the mirror and put on my normal smile. I went in the building froze. I was the sole owner of my own company Life Inside of A Box bakery. Just seeing my bakery logo lifted my spirit. It was a big bakery but it was all mines. My assistant saw me and walked over. "Mrs. Johnson we have a couple orders due today but all the goods are ready to be delivered. I got it covered. " she said.

BACK FROM THE DEAD: MY APOCALYPSE LEVEL-UP SYSTEM

BACK FROM THE DEAD: MY APOCALYPSE LEVEL-UP SYSTEM

Chapter 5: Liquidating and Hoarding The light from the system screen went away. I could still feel the warmth in my chest. Infinite Dimensional Storage was real. I was standing in my living room staring at the words floating in the air. I took a breath and it sounded loud in the quiet apartment. "LUS " I said quietly. "How do I use it? How do I put something inside?" [Just touch the object with your hand and think of the word 'Store' Host Eva.]

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Still dealing with the absurdity of a zombie aunt, Joanna was just plain mad. Raven spoke up. "Joanna, I can hear pockets of conversation. They are not zombies. They are discussing a strange plant that pulses." Joanna froze at the mention of the pulsing plant. In her dream, this was known as the most intelligent plant after the apocalypse started. She had never seen it before, but she had heard terrifying rumors of its immense, destructive capabilities. She also remembered a critical detail from her dream: the plant's warning system consisted of powerful pulses that acted like heavy air charges, generating violent shockwaves capable of slamming into and throwing a threat far away from it.

I love this book! I have read other similar books and I like them for different reasons. But this one is more realistic in many ways. I love the family dynamics and the humor involved in it. Not many books infuse humor.

8-23-25 at 167 chapters. I normally don’t like reading in progress books but this one is super good. Keeps you engaged with dialogue, representing multiple characters, and doesn’t over describe scenes. Well written. Looking forward to consistent updates and following Joanna’s story with her team!

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

Muna projected, her voice a melodic, childish chime in the pack link. I knelt beside her, and my clinical instincts immediately spiked. Buried in the mud were three "Celestial Seeds." They were not made of organic wood or stone; they were translucent, pulsing orbs of liquid quartz that hummed with a sixty beat rhythm so precise it felt like the heartbeat of Elara herself. They were "Biological Archives," sophisticated storage vessels that utilized resonance rather than data to preserve information.
