Shadows In The Fire

Shadows In The Fire

The books they had on the subject seemed sadly outdated and she silently wondered if this exercise would bear results. Eli, being the Head Librarian, was able to sniff out what they needed fast, and she was sure the seven books on the desk were about all he could find. Most of them dealt with hauntings and spirit possessions, but none it seemed, could tell her how to kill an evil spirit. Not just banish it, but kill it and send it hurtling to hell, where it belonged.

Bride Of The Shadowed Alpha

Bride Of The Shadowed Alpha

Liora said, and she meant what she was saying to him. Erezhul smiled widely at her promise and then reached somewhere into his clothes and brought out his leather book that looked really old and worn out. The book seemed to appear from somewhere within his body, which was strange, but Liora didn't question it. He opened the book carefully and flipped through some pages until he found what he was looking for. "This is a poem that I wrote a long time ago," he said, and then he started reading from the book in his strange language that sounded completely different from anything Liora had ever heard before:

he stopped for a second, clearing his throat, gaze meeting mine, before continuing, quieter this time, "I remembered seeing a copy of an Eleven book somewhere in the castle." "So we do have elven books," I register. The thought is more exciting than I anticipated, "they must be centuries old." The Master agrees, "Yes, but the Elves have mastered the art of preservation. It is not only their lives that could go on for centuries, but even their armor, their plants, and their books," he replied. I am more in awe of this than anything else, "It must have been magic then. To live for centuries?" I ask, searching his eyes.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

The Rejected Goddess

The Rejected Goddess

Elves. Witches. Werewolves. None of them stood a chance. Then, something unexpected happened. Princess Eloise—the elven princess who was once taken advantage of—appeared on the battlefield. She fought like someone who had already died inside. Her eyes were filled with hatred, her strikes aimed at only one enemy… King Roosevelt. The book described her speed—like dancing wind. Beautiful, deadly, graceful. "Roosevelt, lost in madness, stared with eyes full of bloodlust. Eloise smiled, mocking him. 'I told you I would ruin you, Your Majesty. May bitterness and sorrow be your eternal companions.'"

Thalia's Ashen Fate

Thalia's Ashen Fate

While the majority were indeed in Elven, a substantial collection of human texts was interspersed among them, secrets bound in familiar words. Time frayed and dissolved. The only sounds were the soft, brittle whisper of a turning page and the quiet rhythm of our breathing. We searched for an eternity contained in an afternoon, until a single title snagged my eye: The Sundering of Oakhaven. I eased the heavy volume from its place, its leather cover cool and smooth beneath my fingertips.

In addition, she had filled the basket with plenty of tasty drinks that tasted like fruit juice. It was everything one could possibly want if they were going to lie on a blanket in the beautiful summer sun and read a book about elven history. I lay down on my stomach, placing the book in front of me. It was large and heavy. Just for fun, I flipped to the back—there were no fewer than four hundred and forty-nine pages in the book. And that was only volume one! I wondered how many volumes there were in total. I opened the big book and could smell the traces of time in it. All I hoped for was that it wouldn’t be too dry to read.

I smiled at him, and he grinned back, walking out of the library and shutting the door behind him as he left. Walking to check each segment of the library and making sure I was the only one inside, I came back to my chair. “Mom, Dad. Just wait, I’m coming for you,” I said, fisting my hands in determination. Sitting on the chair, I reached for my hair, rolling it into a messy bun before commencing. “War strategies and battles of the Shrekers Kingdom,” I read, “These battle strategies have been used by top warlords and if you are reading now, you must have reached a fighting peak. This is why your master’s gave you access to this book, congratulations,”

Erica since she liked her. Even though she got on her case a lot and she was snarky, she liked her personality. Settling some books on the shelf Erica reminds, “Be careful with those books. They’ll either kill you or well, what’s worse than death?” Erica joked with a smirk. Nodding Runa placed the books on the shelf and stopped when she saw a familiar book named, “Elvish.” “Do you speak Elvish?” Erica asked as she noticed how entranced Runa was with the book.
