Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

"Why are you here? Why now?" Lysandra, her voice echoing the same haunting melody, replied, "I'm here because of the storm, because of the impending power shift. And because of you, sister." Darius, his brow furrowed in confusion, turned to Elara. "You know her?" Elara hesitated, taking a deep breath before answering. "Lysandra is my twin sister. We were separated during the Great War. I thought she was lost to me forever." The Siren, her gaze piercing, fixed her eyes on Darius. "And you, young warrior, are caught up in a destiny you can't even fathom."

Their fiery encounter transcends mere pleasure, becoming a sacred communion with the goddess herself. But as dawn approaches, Callista is left to ponder whether the bond she shared with Theo is fleeting or something destined by the gods. Callista’s P.O.V. HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

THE REMNANT CITIES POV: Multiple (Ceres, Xavier, Kaelenna, Elian, Leyra) The Charred Spine Mountains—6Months Later The first city to rise was Elaris. They did not call it by its former name—Flamehold. That name had burned with the crown. Elaris meant "rooted fire" in the old tongue. Not a weapon. Not a throne. Just warmth, shared and eternal. Ceres stood at the gate of the city, her cloak dusted with ash and her hands stained with ink. She had been helping draft walls, not decrees. And for the first time in her life, she found satisfaction in something unfinished.

Indicating that he’ll always be there for her. Nimueh kissed him back. And pulled away after a sudden. "Because for me, yes. I'm willing to feel that dangerous elysium. With you, Aiden. With you.”

The book is good, I like how the Introduction chapter was written. Oh! And the characters' name, usually it attracts me, I like how unique the names are. I only see a few doctor theme/genre stories so this is quite refreshing. ( Made me remember of the Kdrama The Doctors and the Hospital playlist)

The story is great so far! Your first few chapters really hooked me and it's very well-written. Just be mindful that you tend to shift from present tense to past tense a lot - just stick to one tense. Other than that it's an awesome book. Keep it up author :)

Bound For 365

“I am Loci, and this is Jorge. We're from the only Don Veridia know, and the only one there ever will be, first of his name, Don Alessandro Torricelli.” Dino's men scoffed. I sighed. “This…” I looked around, at the dusted beams, at the colored shards of light, at the house that was barely holding itself together. “…this isn’t Moretti. It isn’t Torricelli. This place—this is Elysium.” The word slipped out of me like instinct. I didn’t even know where it came from, but it sounded right. One of Dino’s men frowned, scratching his neck. “Ely…what?”

He said so passionately and it only remained a tiny bit for me to swoon over him. "The only adventure I want is to Greece," I said as I continued the talk on History, "So many human generations later, Zeus released Kronos and his brothers from this prison, and made the old Titan king of the Elysian Islands, home of the blessed dead, Kronos was essentially the same as Kronos, the primordial god of time in the Orphic Theogonies. Afterwards the Greek gods and goddesses, or sons and daughters of Kronos, married each other and had kids with each other. Like Zeus' daughter, there was Athena, who grew out of Zeus' head, becoming the brain child."

James flicked his eyes back and forth between Eliza and Blakeney as the man paused dramatically. “Thetis,” said Blakeney, grandly. “She is a goddess of the sea. A lieutenant of sorts to Poseidon, but more commonly associated with calm and tranquil waters.” “That’s right,” he said, remembrance flooding to him. “Achilles was her most famous son.” Blakeney nodded proudly at his pupil. “Correct.”

the time was ticking at the faster rate and I don’t know what we are supposed to do with it. “You have a very nice watch.” Orpheus commented, eying the watch from the corner of his eye. “I know.” I said cutting his line of sight by putting back the watch in my pocket. I don’t know if I should trust him or not yet. I can’t show him our only way of exit from here. “Last is the land of The Elysian fields. It is the place where the most of the excellent men dwells. It is run by the Hecate.”

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!
