Afrodite is a great example by the way, she symbolises desire, passion and sexuality, her son Eros stands for love and relationships". "But why not use Freja then ? Isn't she the same as Afrodite ?" I ask.

"Goddess no! Happy for you guys, really I am." I thump his arm, "you are mated with Emerald just not in the way you think." Eros can have multiple mates but in a different form than the typical mate bond. They can love these people and have lifelong connections, but it's not a physical thing. If those who are mated need to do this whole thing to fuse that bond, it will be unbreakable.
