his name leaned off my tongue with emphasis, "Care to share your theory with me as to how you think the prototypes for The Collective's new lineup is reminiscent of Emelia's old work?" Neil swallowed as he straightened his back to appear more confident. "W-well, it's the pencil strokes of the drawings, really... Miss Emelia has very long, purposeful sketching. Very... meticulous. Not a line out of place. A lot of other line sketches are short, choppy, and messy..." "Hm." It was the only thing I could respond with. It had been so long since I'd seen her work, that in truth, I'd forgotten what it all looked like.

I entered the house and the kids were still awake. "Papa!" Emilia squealed, running towards me. I picked her up and patted her back. They were still in their uniform. "How are you, sweetheart?" I asked and she beamed, showing me a drawing she made. "You did this?" I gestured to the white cardboard paper. "Yes, it's so beautiful. I drew it for Mama. When I grow up, I want to draw like mama." I pressed a kiss on her forehead. "Dad." Dante came running forward as well as Alessio.

Next to them, there was little book full of different recipes and cooking ideas, all done in atrocious and illegible handwriting, with a cartoon girl with wide, giant eyes on second to last page of the book. Emmet stared at it for a moment, turned his head to the side to the little, and wondered who the drawing was of. If he went by the uniform, he could reasonably say that it was Lila, but she really didn’t have the face that was in the drawing. Her hair wasn’t nearly as perfectly styled, or as curly and puffy, and she had quite clear acne scars running all the way down both sides of her face. The eyes were also far too happy to fit her. He flipped the page and then perfectly understood tha

I picked it up and it was a picture of the same lady I had seen the last time. “La mia Emilia” was written in the new picture!

The Moretti mansion was too quiet that morning, not the peaceful kind of silencebut the kind that felt heavy, like something important was missing. The sunlight got in through the large windows but it didn’t warm the house. In the kitchen, Emilia sat at the counter drawing quietly with a pink crayon, her small hands moved slowly and her tongue stuck out the way it always did when she focused but this time, her picture wasn’t of a castle or a princess or her favorite stuffed cat.

[A/N: Just a little reminder that this book is rated 18+, as there will be sexually explicit scenes that some readers may find disturbing. ] Marcelo~ The constant pitter patter of rain drops against my window sill, was the only sound keeping me company, as I sat alone with my thoughts. Thoughts that revolved around a particularly interesting female. Emilia Anderson! She grew up to be a fucking goddess, one I'd love to worship on my bed. Those baby blue eyes and the sadness they seemed to hide, I couldn't get them out of my head. Not that I even wanted to, I've always had a thing for her.

12:13 : I’ll fuck that attitude out of you. I paused at the ignition, watching the three dots fall and rise as she typed. Emilia Visconti : Dream responsibly. I threw my head back and laughed after reading the text. I moved out of the driveway with one hand and sent another text with the other. 12:19 : Art supplies? Emilia had an Achilles’ heel. It was painting and everything that had to do with art. I’d wake up at 3 a.m. and find her in the living room with supplies, painting yet another piece.

David asked. Ethan offered a faint, warm smile. "The distance between things." David stood silent, the words sinking in until the sheer simplicity of it made him look down in quiet defeat. He looked at his own hands, then at the floor blueprints he had drawn up years ago—blueprints that had prioritized spatial symmetry over human momentum. Meglo, standing beside them, let out a sudden, bark of a laugh—part relief, part sheer awe. He wiped a tear of tension from his eye and shook his head in disbelief.

So beautiful. Princess Emilia smiled at the works as she never expected AJ to be a lover of artworks. The pictures gives great aesthetic pleasure. "Guess we have something in common" she stated smiling in admiration. She loves drawing and so does like people that has interest in it. "He's pretty sure the kind of dark man acting dark and living a dark life. At least his room is bright and beautiful here." She smiled and touched one of the pictures. "Now, I wish that I got married to the man I love and have my wedding night near an ocean." She said sadly.

I opened the door to let Klaus see Emilia. "Yes," the painter suddenly exclaimed, "that's it, smile like that, miss. Your eyes are finally alive!" I turned around and saw the sparkle in Emilia's eyes, like the melting snow in the forest in spring, radiating a smile.
