She asked, placing her hands on her hips, as a smile appeared on her face. We ended up finding ourselves in the Underworld drinking our asses off and playing strip poker, but Emiko was not getting drunk, to be honest she looked sad. Frost walked over to her and sat down next to her. He whispered something into her ear that had Hades looking at her, as she nodded. Hades was staring at her with a look I did not like him having on his face. He had a wife, for fucks sake. He suddenly looked at me and I looked away, downing my tequila. I heard a throat clear as someone sat down next to me. I looked and it was him.

Jericho remained silent for a moment but I could hear him typing on his laptop. “Perfect, I actually have a device that will be perfect for this. Are you still in Maine, love?” He asked. “Yes I am, I plan to be here for a while.” I said.

I demanded. Emily raised her eyes slowly to meet mine. They were a brilliant blue that seemed brighter than the moon, the light reflecting off them and making them sparkle. She was chewing on her bottom lip again and her eyes were searching mine with intensity like she was seeking some kind of answer from me. “What are you searching for Emily?” My voice came out as a whisper and my wolf growled louder and harder than ever before. “N..nothing” The words came out shaky like it took everything in her power to speak them and I was sure that it was true.

Jade chuckled and urged Hunter to call out to Emmy. "Emmy." Hunter cleared his throat and knocked on the door again. "If you don't open the door now, the person you want to see is leaving." "I don't believe you. You're lying to me!" Hunter shrugged helplessly, gesturing for Jade to step forward. Jade walked to the door and called out, "Hello, Emmy. I'm Jade Severin." There was a moment of silence inside before the door swiftly swung open. Emerging from within was a young girl seated in a wheelchair, adorned in a fluffy dress and sporting two neatly tied pigtails.

Tyler sat in his office, scrolling through emails when his phone buzzed with a flood of notifications. His eyes flicked down to the screen, expecting the usual business updates, but instead, he saw Emily’s name trending on every platform. Confused, he tapped on the top link. The headline hit him like a punch to the gut. “Emily Hudson: Hollywood’s Golden Girl or Hollywood’s Best Kept Secret?”
