Alpha Jones smiled subtly. "I think you need to wake up from your daydream. We have lost. Nolan has won. The Nemesis has caught up with us" David stressed out. "We are the Nemesis" Alpha Jones pointed out. "The Nemesis does not sit in the cell of his own Manor with his beta" he retorted. "Do you hear that?" he held one of his ears for attentiveness. "What?" Alpha Jones also paid attention. There were sounds of footsteps all over the Manor. "They have returned from evacuation to a new Alpha" David related.

Jordan was acutely aware Norman was speaking facts. Reeling back from shock, he blinked severally, trying to gather his thoughts. "W-What?" Jordan stammered, his face contorted with confusion. "What the fuck are you talking about? What do you mean Alexa has kids that look exactly like me? I don't fucking understand." "It had come as a shocker to me too, boss. But it is what it is..." Norman replied enthusiastically. For some reason, he seemed to be overly excited about the news and Jordan couldn't comprehend why.

Norman's eyes welled up, but he was trying to control the tears from falling. But mine just fell into my cheeks while looking at him helplessly desperate. I couldn't explain the feelings but I was having a hard time breathing while looking at him being questioned. "No," I uttered to myself. "You shouldn't be moved by his words, Yvanna. You remember nothing about him. And let me remind you, he kissed his ex-girlfriend in front of your sleeping son." Right. I should always keep that in mind. Norman is a jerk. He's nothing but a monster just like his sisters There is no reason for me to pity him...

I hesitated, glancing at the tray in my hands, then back at him. “You sure?” “Yeah,” he said with that easy, quiet confidence. “It’s just lunch, not a contract.” I smiled awkwardly and slid into the empty seat across from him. The moment I sat, one of the boys grinned. “I’m Ethan,” the sandy-haired one said. “And this is Liam. You’re Emma, right? The new girl everyone keeps saying made Mr. Nolan smile for the first time in three years?” I laughed, surprised. “I don’t think that’s true. He just liked my essay.”

Xena said as she paced the room, biting on her fingers. Norman only huffed as he fell to the bed; he was also confused. "I will get to the root of this. Please don't worry, love," he cooed. But Xena wasn't the one to get pacified easily, especially on things or people who had her bow her head in shame. "Why Alexa of all people?" she cried as she neared him. Norman only stared at her, offering his shoulders as comfort. "She spared no chance in making it clear that I'm still alive because of her," Xena lifted her head off his shoulder, her face now streaked with mascara, making her look like an emo.

Emma followed the sound, her grip on her weapon tightening. She turned a corner and froze. A figure stood at a makeshift workstation, their back to her. The glow of a computer screen illuminated their features just enough for her to recognize them. Her blood ran cold. It wasn’t a stranger. It was Alex. Emma’s mind reeled as she stared at him, “Alex?” she whispered, her voice barely audible. He turned, his expression a mixture of surprise and regret, “Emma, I can explain.” She raised her weapon, her hands shaking, realization clicking on her, “You too? You’re working for them? After everything?”

I heard the deep grunt of my father from the ground. "Xander, I'm sorry, but I have to keep my promise. Every promise I made to everyone who saved my life, I'll keep them all!" She stated this with a strong tone, different from the weak and childish voice she had always had. "Xander, remember, you vowed to kill her whenever you see her!" Dad kept grunting in pain. "You are the powerful Alpha Xavier; how did I get to strike you down so easily? Kill me yourself and keep Xander out of this. " Lena snorted, squatting down to him.

I told him in a mocking tone. I stormed off into the kitchen with my plate in hand. Tristan followed behind me. I slammed the plate down into the sink. I raised my head up to the ceiling and breathed hard. "Emma, you're the one who insisted that I be normal and accept my mother's relationship with Clarke. Why on earth are you acting out now? You said you wanted to make him miserable. Why?" He said. "He deserves it. He seduced me into liking him." I told him sounding really unsure by what I said.

How can everything be so horribly tangled up? He took a deep breath to calm himself down, wiping away the tear stained on his skin. Ethan slowly pulled him backward until his back rested against the sofa. “Nathan.” His puffed eyes met mine once more. “If Xena had known that Emma was your mate, then we have to save her as soon as possible. Or the tragedy will repeat itself.” His exclamation had my heart dropped on my stomach. “What do you mean?” I rasped out, having it not used for an amount of time.
