Emma's soothing voice echoes around the room, and soon enough, I'm drifting off to sleep. --------------------------------------------- Richard wants Emma's wounds to heal properly, so I end up spending a week in SaDian Hospital. It probably would have been longer but Emma's father had some special scientists give her experimental injections that sent her body into hyper drive. Her bruised organs heal quicker than normal and her face shows no scars. Though it's incredible, the cut on her leg was much deeper and ends up leaving a very light scar from the back of her knee to her heel. Emma doesn't mind it and that's enough for everyone else.

Emma looked into Alex's eyes, unsure of how to respond to his declaration of love. She was taken aback to hear those words from him, especially considering their complicated situation. But seeing him lying there in the hospital bed, injured because of her, stirred up conflicting emotions within her. "I appreciate your concern, Alex," Emma replied softly, her voice filled with a mix of gratitude and confusion. "But I think it's important for me to focus on finding out the truth about Eva and the organization. Our safety should be our priority and you should be kept out of danger."

He rolled his eyes. "Look at this, baby." Max whispered in her ears and held his out, rotating his hand, a red and green glow comes out of his hand. He pointed to Keyton and showed a red cross on his chest. "Red cross means that he's lying and a green tick means that he's telling the truth." He said, the other power that allows him to detect lies, this can be useful for interrogating the criminals that are down there. "Woah, detecting lies!" She exclaimed.

Emma grabbed it, squinting at the screen in the predawn darkness. The message had no words. Just a video file attachment. She sat up, suddenly wide awake. Unknown numbers sending videos at 5 AM was never good news. But ignoring it wouldn't make it go away. Emma opened the file. The video was grainy, shot from a distance with a telephoto lens. It showed Emma leaving her apartment building yesterday morning. Showed her walking to the subway. Showed her entering the medical archives. Showed her meeting Damien and Victoria at the coffee shop.

Emma run to him who was hiding himself with mask and unsure cloths Emma: you help me. Alex: what the fuck how did you recognise me??? I dialed the doctor’s number and put the speaker on speaker, waiting for her to answer. At the fourth ring, the doctor answered, "Hello?" she said. "Doc, it’s Axel, Dare." "All right?" he asked immediately. "No, something is wrong. We were sitting, and suddenly we felt something, we don’t know what it is," I said, scared. "Okay, calm down," said the doctor, "Describe what you’re feeling," said the doctor, "Emma?" "I don’t know, a strange feeling, like blows. I can’t describe it," Emma said, frightened.

Emma entered the maternity center of the hospital. She wanted to go all the way and she was going to make sure of it. The hospital was not the same one she usually went to. She changed hospitals when she heard that Dawson Delgado was hospitalized there. She might have a real chance of running into Xavier there. After a brief consultation with the doctor they set a date for the procedure and she took her leave. Since the day was just beginning she decided to wait in the lobby. She might get to see him today if she got lucky.

“But not without a warning.” “Alright.” Xavier responds, wishing me farewell. When I arrive back at the office, it’s better. I go over the illustrations that Lira sent over and even though our system got hacked again, the programming department was fast enough to detect and disable the bug. After a long day of work, I go back home and I am surprised when the smell of something burning comes from the kitchen. Tracing the smell to the kitchen where Emma is standing facing the counter, her messy strawberry blonde hair scooped into a bun, an apron is tied around her tiny waist. Smoke curls lazily around the kitchen making Emma’s posture appear more rigid.

The housekeeper trailed off, a look of guilt on her face. “When I got back, I felt something was off. That’s when I found her in the bathroom.” Her chatter continued as they approached the hospital room. “I’ve also noticed her taking pills—antidepressants, the doctor said. Only someone with severe depression would need those.” Standing outside the door, she added, “Miss Xander will want to see you when she wakes up. I’ll wait outside.” Justin’s expression darkened as he gently pushed the door open. The noise startled Emma awake. She flinched before her eyes darted to the doorway. When she saw Justin, relief washed over her features.
