Ezrene felt like someone had snatched the land beneath her feet the second her eyes met with those nefarious blue eyes of Ziven. Her blood froze. Suddenly that air and darkness around her started suffocating her, especially the way he was looking at her. His eyes showed no emotion. No anger, no rage, nothing….but a completely dreadful silence which was prevailing in his gaze and that scared the life out of her. He was looking lethally calm and silent which filled more tears in her eyes in fear.

Olivia POV Two enormous crimson eyes slowly opened in the darkness. In the eerie silence of the Void, those eyes burned like glowing embers, blazing a deep crimson against the endless black. They did not blink. They simply stared at me, cold and emotionless. The eyes shifted. Slowly. Deliberately. Only the crimson glow moved through the darkness while the rest of its body remained swallowed by the black void, as though the darkness itself refused to reveal what lay beneath. His eyes, once sparking with playful intrigue, were now unreadable. Not angry, not shocked, but a cold, calculating grey.
