Sweet Dreams
He mumbles and I see the fear and love in his eyes as I smile at his words.
I hold his gaze, letting the silence settle between us as my heart thunders hard against my chest. Emotions I couldn’t even explain or name exploding and overwhelming me as my pulse jumps, need, contentment , satisfaction, pure love, pride, pulses through my entire being, and tiny little sparks of defiance mixed with happiness flickers through me as goosebumps rises across my skin.
