I tried to laugh, “I’m acting like a child.” “No,” his voice was firm, “you’re not. It’s normal to be more emotional during your heat. There’s nothing wrong with that.” I shook my head slightly, “this isn’t just my heat. I feel like a dam has bust open inside me and it’s flooding me with so much…so much emotion. Garrett snapped, much unlike his usual well-kept self. The heavy emotions in the room were beginning to give me a headache.
