Rings the silent howl from her unknown bleeding heart. “Just,” now crying deep from her dream, to the hollow and nothingness of space. Inside the darkness, she always wakes up in the middle but is unconsciously asleep from within. Her heart is screaming with the pain that shed her tears from the pain of losing, HIM.

I just mumble back to him. I'm not sure how long after he left I woke up fully, but the side he sleeps in is cold, so he must have left hours ago. Turning, I see the paper on the bed. I smile and reach for it. Turning it over, my eyes widen. The sketch shows a person with the centre of their body hollowed out and empty. There's no longer a heart there. I read the poem. I couldn’t hear the shouting. Couldn’t feel the dust settling on my skin. Couldn’t even feel my own heartbeat. I just stared at him. Empty. Broken. Gone.

I loved him with all my heart and when he finally broke my heart, it was shattered to pieces and left me with nothing. Empty. That was the right word to describe what I was feeling right now, sitting on the couch and staring blankly at the TV. It felt like he just thrust his hand, past my rib cage, straight into my heart, and ripped it out. I knew there was no mere human who could actually do that yet for today, only tonight, I’d like to believe that what had actually happened because I couldn’t explain the hollow in my chest.

She drops like someone cut her strings. Dust hangs in the air, ghostly in the moonlight. For one beat, everything inside me is quiet. No hum. No pull. The bond is… wrong. Not there where it should be. Not entirely gone. An echo where a heartbeat should be. My chest feels hollow. Not the clean emptiness of something healed. The raw cavity of something ripped out. Dark and the feeling of emptiness covered her entire system as she was walking in an unknown place where she can't see anything but pure black and gray. She just need to try and do something.

The last time I felt this way was in highschool but I'll die before I let anyone know and ever since then I've not had such feeling. I chuckled a little as I remembered her laugh, it was so contagious, it's the kind of laugh you'll want to get back home to hear and this feeling is scaring the shit out of me.
