I Accidentally Married a Mafia Boss

I Accidentally Married a Mafia Boss

“Wrong brand. The way she holds her arms? Trained, but not natural.” He didn’t need to explain further. The woman who fell… She was a decoy. Izora’s mouth parted slightly in shock. “She faked her death?” Her voice cracked, disbelieving. Enoch nodded grimly. “She planned this. Filmed it. And uploaded it into an encrypted vault just for you to find. That video, this entire code, it’s her message.” He met Izora’s eyes with something that wasn’t quite fear, but wasn’t far from it either.

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Ben opened the door and bumped into the scene. Awkward silence set in. He backed out quietly. Erica shoved Randy off and fixed her hair. "Come in." Ben re-entered, adjusting his glasses. "Miss Mathis, Mr. Osborne." "Did Debra send you here?" Erica asked. "Mrs. Houston says it's mostly wrapped up," Ben replied. "She's asking if you two wanna join them at the cemetery today." The room fell silent. The Illuminati had been defeated, and Enoch was dead. Debra, Marion, and Jordan had avenged their parents.

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

My Death Contract

My Death Contract

The jacket had hot chocolate- colored elbow patches and she chose a cutout fringe petal pink turtleneck do accompany it. Meredith took a quick shower and pulled on a Saint Lauren highrise jean pencil skirt as she heard Brayden start up the blue bathroom shower. She put her hair in a french twist and finished getting dressed and was glad she didn’t have to ignore him and he had kept his distance while Taylor was over. But what Edward had said to her kept replaying in her mind. He was right, Meredith didn’t choose what she could and couldn’t do. It was all according to the Death Contract. Of course, she couldn’t have admitted that top Edward. And she couldn’t really tell Taylor what was going

Death or Marriage!

Death or Marriage!

“What type of poison” “Atropa belladonna. It was the same one found in your father’s autopsy. I believe their death is connected.” Nightshade poison. A deadly poison for a deadly organisation. I scramble closer. “What do you know Doctor?” Gail looks at me, hesitant. “Nothing much aside that I believe this is all connected to the inner circle.” The Inner Circle? This is the first time in ten years I’ve heard that name again. The last time was the day my father was buried.”

Flying Death

Flying Death

I don’t know why, but something is rotten in my gut and it’s never wrong. We storm through the building, Roddy’s being the last room at the end of the long ass hallway. The door is locked and Grouch sticks his ear to it, then backs up and kicks it open. The immediate stench of death I know all too well hits my nose and I can’t believe nobody has noticed it. It’s at least fifteen doors from mine. Missile and Grouch storm in, but I can already see the lifeless body of Ryan “Roddy” Grimes on the bed. I step in the room and see a needle sticking right out of his fucking arm. His skin is already discolored, he’s been dead a couple days. And nobody even realized it. Some brotherhood we are.

Revenge Of The Dead

Revenge Of The Dead

Guevarra’s liposuction. “Welcome back, Ginger,” Dr. Guevarra said with a smile on her face. “Are you ready to remove your bandage and see the result of your new appearance?” “Finally! I get to see the new me literally,” Ginger said. “And Ginger had already died three months ago. It’s Lucy Solace now.” “Well, that’s a nice name, Lucy,” Dr Guevarra said while gently removing Ginger’s bandage, and once removed, she handed over a mirror to Ginger.

Death Contract

Death Contract

Our next meet was when she died. "Code red! Code red! Calling for Grim 10897456 to the afterlife inn." After the Grim Reaper conference at the Ministry of Death that lasted for two days, this was the announcement I heard when I came out of the haunted house. This century's death ministry is a huge amusement park. Senior Grim's say it fluctuates with each passing century. Yet I have no idea if that is true or not. Well, I don't care either. The code mentioned is mine so I went straight to the ferris wheel which is the way to the after life inn. However before I could board Gavin teased me.

Death & Life

Death & Life

They couldn't have been more than fifteen years of age and were both intelligent looking. "We are the new fates, brothers Jackson and Nowell and you two are Rai, the Grim Reaper and Sebastian, a Death & Life soul cultivator, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Jackson stated and presented his open hand to us as he stepped closer. Rai shook it first and said we needed to clean up the mess. "We will deal with it, you both enjoy your newly engaged selves," Jackson grinned. We both thanked them profusely and stood back as they waved their hands over the corpses and the bodies and blood all vanished.

Her Last Death

Her Last Death

C managed to catch it right out of the air, and it happened so fast I didn't even see him make a move. The metal hissed against his palm. Every hunter instantly shifted formation. Not around him. Around me. Target acquisition. My stomach dropped. Not captive. Not victim. Threat. There it was. The final illusion dying quietly inside my ribs. There was no going back. Elias’s voice echoed coldly through the cathedral. “Selene Virell is deceased.” The words hit harder than any weapon. “She ceased to be human the moment she turned.” Some of the hunters glanced at each other uncertainly - I knew a few of them, we had been through training together, and we had been wounded together too.
