Almost… expectant. "Too quiet," I muttered, my hand instinctively tightening around a stake. "The dumbass psycho is toying with us." Then, a flicker in the corner of my eye. A ripple in the air, like heat rising off asphalt. A portal. But not one of ours. This one pulsed with the same dark energy that permeated the fortress, laced with something else… something sickeningly sweet and familiar. Draven. He stepped through the portal, and I was ready to strike. But this time, it wasn't Draven who came out.

The Goddess’s voice filled the air again, gentle yet commanding. “The portal is ready. Summon your allies.” I turned toward the sigils, lifted my hands, and chanted the spell she had given me. The sky cracked open. Thunder roared as a giant portal formed above us, swirling with fire and light. One by one, enormous shadows moved inside it. Wings unfolded, vast and shimmering. The dragons. Their roars shook the heavens as they descended from the other side, landing in formation around the altar. Their scales gleamed like gemstones under moonlight, black, gold, crimson, and silver.

Serana POV. We fly towards the portal that leads to the dragon realm. We shift back and Joel hands us clothes and I put them on. Cyra is bouncing on her feet and clapping excitedly. I look up at the vast mountain. There are two gigantic dragons carved into the mountainside, and in between them is a shimmering purple portal. “They are beautiful.” I say as I walk closer and place my hand on the stone carving and look up. They are huge. I close my eyes and smile. I have never been to this portal and seeing it up close and personal takes my breath away.

I summoned my full strength, calling upon the powers of the dragons to protect me and guide me through that dangerous and forbidding landscape. And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I reached the entrance to the Netherworld. A dark and twisted portal loomed before me, its energy crackling with malevolent power. I took a deep breath, summoning my courage and my strength. I knew that what lay beyond that portal was more terrifying than anything I had ever faced till then. But I was ready. The stone heated up, cracks of molten red running through its surface. And just before the flame erupted— I smirked. Time to move the game to the next board. The room grew hotter. The portal cracked open right in front of me, swirling colors of black and red, the smell of burning scales leaking out before anything even stepped through. Then the dragon stepped out. Huge, stone-skinned wings. Fire dripping from its jaws like saliva. Its eyes scanned the room with that predator calm, like everything here was just prey. And sitting right on top of it?

Venus called so she could cast her transporting spell once again but the little Dragon spoke instead. "Let me create a portal." And he did, a misty space opened up on the ground and he motioned for them to step into the winged shaped portal. "This will take you directly into your home, Venus." Once they were all in the wings, the mist grew thicker taking them away as it vanished from the Elder's abode.
