I opened the gate, entering the compound. I scanned the surroundings, and I could feel the rogue closer already. "They were five!" Reid shouted. "I also got some marks on each of them. I'm sure if you didn't have any superpowers they would beat you more than they did with me." He fired. I smirked. "So... If they were five, why don't you have a team of your own? No one wants to team up with a loser?" I scorned, not sparing him a look but still keeping a rapt attention. That fucking rogue was going to appear soon.

~DAISY~ After the movie, I kept arguing with Bryan as we drove home. It was to 10pm already but we were raising our voices as if it was morning. I did all I could to avoid Dave after the movie; and fortunately I escaped. "Am so annoyed with Franco. He was suppose to live but go carried away by a girl. How pathetic." I spoke and crossed my hands reminiscing on the film. "Franco was the main character, he was suppose to survive in the jungle game but fell for a stranger and she ended up making him die."

And beside the girl is what looks like a red picnic cloth, with neatly folded man’s clothes and shoes on top of it. I read through 269 pages of the book. I have watched the movie like years ago, and I honestly think movies often tell the story a little differently as compared to the book version. Just like Nicholas Sparks, A Walk to Remember, the story is somehow dissimilar as compared to Mandy Moore’s movie version of the book.

We spent the rest of the time feeding each other like a pair of newly weds and we almost wouldn't stop even when the movie ended. "What do you think about the movie?", I asked him. "It was really nice I guess. How about you?", he said facing me and slowly reaching out his hand to touch my face. " The book was way better, I guess. I mean even her dressing isn't exactly what I pictured but Henry was...." I said but trailed off when his hand made contact with my face. "Relax, you had a bit of ice cream on your face", he said smirking. " And who's fault is that?", I said rubbing the sides of my lip with my thumb.

Maybe it was her maturity, but Heather always exuded a distinct aura of a married woman. It felt like I was watching a grand, absurd reality show unfolding before my eyes. The night air was cool, yet I felt a wave of heat spreading through me, my heartbeat racing uncontrollably. I had never seen such an exhilarating scene. Swallowing hard, I felt my grip tighten against the door frame. All I had to do was push the door open, and I would be part of this outrageous scene, experiencing a rush I had never known before.

You of all people should know that.” He took a step forward, then another, until the distance between them was scorching. “You had no idea what you were doing, did you?” She tilted her head, mocking curiosity. “You’ll have to be more specific. I’ve done a lot lately.” He grabbed the book from her lap and hurled it across the room. It slammed against the wall and thudded to the floor. Ayra blinked, startled—but her composure snapped back instantly. “Oh, so it’s tantrum hour. Infinitely charming, really.”

Chapter 19 [R20+] As he had said, Emma thought he would be gentle with her. He was gentle, but... Damien slowly took off all of Emma's clothes, tossed them aside, and carried her to the bed. Emma curled up, trying to shrink her presence. She looked at the tall man in front of her, and up close, she could feel his strong, muscular body even more. His body was already large, and at that moment, it completely overshadowed Emma's small frame. This huge disparity, even without considering his strength, was enough to make Emma not want to get closer to him.
